jewish friends

What does it take for a Jew to condemn our enemy?

Obama’s election staff once again includes plenty of high-ranking Jews, including businessmen, senators, and a former chief of the Conference of Presidents of the Major Jewish Organizations.

Those people remain visibly undeterred by Obama’s role in removing our friends Mubarak and Qaddafi, and his tolerance of nuclear Iran.

Goldstone broken by Jewish lobby

After 18 months of witch-hunting by Israeli lobbyists, Goldstone has finally given up and disowned his report. He falsely claims now that errors in the report were due to the lack of information at the time it was compiled. In fact, though extensive fact-finding missions were conducted afterward, details of the Cast Lead were sufficiently clear at the time. The problem is not that Goldstone had too little information from Israel, but that he included unverified and clearly absurd information from Arab sources; such information often went into his report verbatim. That much he cannot admit without destroying his professional credibility.

Goldstone’s de facto apology was carefully crafted as an op-ed rather than an official retraction. That way, he remains faithful to his friends (anti-Israeli diplomats and liberals) while soothing Israeli anger.

Life or pita

Arab pita breadArabs threw rocks at a Jewish woman from Carmiel, hitting her in the head and badly wounding her when she and three friends came to the Arab village of Dir al Assad to buy local bread.

Yes, Jews share a gene

European Jewish organizations are up in arms over comments made by a board member of Germany’s Bundesbank, who said that Jews share a common gene.

What exactly is wrong with that? Numerous studies have found a common genetic lineage among Jews. Some of these ‘racist’ studies were financed by the Israeli government through local universities.

The truth is that the self-appointed leaders of the Jewish Diaspora strive to assimilate and become indistinguishable from their gentile friends. The remark on Jewish genetics is painful for them because it reminds them of their origin, and the impossibility of total assimilation.

Israeli company sells its country

The Delek group, headed by Jewish oligarch Yitzhak Tshuva, has announced its plans to export gas from Leviathan field offshore Haifa.

God gave us a good land: oil in Sinai, gas in Ashdod and Haifa, and uranium in Jordan. Jews have abandoned some of these resources to our enemies and sell others to those who are not our friends. This, in the end, leaves the country with nothing.

The Leviathan field can only provide for Israel’s domestic needs for another 30-60 years. Do we really want to export our gas and leave our children begging for gas from Iran?

Turkey: mixed reaction over Marmara

Turkey’s chief rabbi expressed solidarity with the Turkish people over the Marmara raid. Though he was pointedly restrained in his tone, the rabbi distanced himself from the Jewish people in favor of his local Jewish community, which is questionably ethical.

But here is a very encouraging sign: only a few hundred friends and relatives welcomed the Marmara activists in Istanbul airport. In a country accustomed to hundred-thousand-strong demonstrations, that clearly expresses lack of public interest in the affair.

In the debate in the Turkish parliament, Erdogan’s party MPs staunchly opposed sanctions on Israel. Erdogan is a shrewd politician who distinguishes between rhetoric and action, but his position is unsustainable: eventually, politics follows rhetoric.

Patriarchs in diplomatic light

The White House has criticized the Israeli government for daring to call the tombs of the patriarchs Jewish national heritage. According to our friends from Washington, the biblical patriarchs actually fall under Palestinian sovereignty.

The Palestinians supported US diplomacy by hurling stones at Israeli police in Hebron. The PA has declared that Abbas won’t conduct peace talks with Netanyahu, who steals “Palestinian sacramentals.” The Jewish patriarchs would be surprised to know that they have become holy to Palestinian Arabs. Netanyahu, nevertheless, continues to prop up the PA with IDF operations and tax transfers.

Israel’s president has embarked on a damage-control operation by meeting the UN coordinator, a lowly figure who should not be able to get near the president of any self-respecting state.

Teitel: shameful abandonment ended

King David Hotel bombing in JerusalemFor several days moderate right-wingers competed to distance themselves from Jack Teitel, who is accused of terrorism against Arabs, ultra-leftists, and messianics.

Whether Teitel is guilty or not, whether he is a Shabak agent or an honest Jew, is irrelevant. What matters is that he is accused of actions which many people on the right have quietly urged for years—and few Jews have dared to do.

Jewish terrorism against Arabs is no less efficient than Arab terrorism against Jews: it is a reasonable means to an important political end.
Jewish terrorism against ultra-leftists is an expected response to the campaign of terror and incitement ultra-leftists are waging against settlers.
And while we welcome Christians as good friends, missionary activity in the Land of Israel is unacceptable.

It is good to know that Teitel got an attorney from Honenu, a charity which defends right-wing Jews in Israeli courts.

Levite indicted for watching an Arab crime

Orly Levi, a Jewish female serving in the IDF, was indicted for passively watching as her Arab friends attempted the rape of Jewish women on a Tel Aviv beach and murdered their husband/father.

The three Arab murderers will stand trial, spend some years in a comfortable jail, and return to their village as heroes for other Arabs and a fine example for their youngsters. Jewish taxpayers will foot the multimillion-dollar bill for keeping the Arabs in jail.

The Torah unequivocally demands their execution. Israeli law, too, allows the execution of murderers, but leftist courts shrink from that commonsense measure.

No Lebensraum for Jews

The German Foreign Ministry has demanded an end to settlement construction in Israel, despite that construction has been de facto frozen for the last five months. This is reminiscent of Israel’s incessant demands on Arafat to renounce terrorism, again and again.

The demand is both sensible and not. Palestinians and their Western friends are rightly concerned about the strategic projects, such as connecting Maale Adumim to Jerusalem with a line of Jewish neighborhoods while at the same time disconnecting Jerusalem from Ramallah. But freezing construction in the settlement blocs generally sends Palestinians a signal that Israel is ready to evacuate them.

Since Netanyahu had already implemented the construction freeze, Obama has little incentive to agree to the Israeli condition of a written American pledge to allow resumption of construction once the peace talks fail.

Much ado about missiles

Though worldwide media are screaming about yesterday’s ballistic missile launch, the UNSC failed to act against the poor and determined communists.

The missile launch failed technically, but won diplomatically: by stepping up its military activities, North Korea comes back to international prominence and receives aid, which perpetuates its atrocious regime.
The communists similarly profited from a failed nuclear test.

America pays its enemies rather than its friends. Jewish nicety and compliance with American diplomatic wishes bring Israel neither significant aid nor support. A militant Israeli policy which destabilizes the Middle East would bring more benefits.

The Mossad’s Ambassador to Washington

by Barry Chamish

I knew Israel’s new ambassador to Washington, Michael Oren. Now normally, so what? But I have been flooded with letters, petitions and articles asking why this non-diplomat, with one irrelevant book in his CV, was chosen over dozens of high- ranking Foreign Ministry bureaucrats, who toiled for years hoping to be appointed to the highest posting on earth. Let’s summarize the confusion with a letter from a longtime source, followed by a phone call from him from Israel:

What an incredibly off the wall pick for ambassador. Absolutely no government service- and the only academic credentials he has is from Shalem Center.
The pick reminds me of Dore Gold but that was to the UN- not US Ambassador. At least had an academic record. Oren is a one time author of a conventional book on one event in Israeli history. What gives?

Why so off the wall? Well for one thing, he opposes, on paper at least, PM Netanyahu’s basic security positions:

Netanyahu’s candidate for U.S. envoy backs one-sided pullout
By Barak Ravid Haaretz Last update – 06:01 24/04/2009

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s candidate for Israeli ambassador to
Washington, Dr. Michael Oren, supports a unilateral Israeli withdrawal from
the West Bank and an evacuation of most of the settlements.

Oren, a visiting Georgetown University professor, said in a lecture there
last month, “The only alternative for Israel to save itself as a Jewish
state is by unilaterally withdrawing from the West Bank and evacuating most
of the settlements.”

To get to the bottom of the mystery, I have something personal to contribute. In 1979, Michael Oren and I were drafted into the Israeli army on the same day, arrived at the Bakkum Induction Center on the same bus, and became really good buddies in the two days we waited until we were assigned separate units. I ended up a sand-eating drudge and he got the best the army could offer, induction into the Mossad.
Michael looked tall, blond and gentile, so he was given a press card from the Kansas City Star, and toured Middle Eastern capitals as a journalist, not for Kansas, but for Israel. After our service ended, we met and, while I could only describe a bland time in the military, he described his tours of Iraq and Syria, the risks of being discovered, looking down on the Galilee from the Syrian POV, and, I remember this point most clearly, how good the food was in Damascus.
What my correspondents didn’t know was the Oren was not a nobody in the Israeli establishment, he was a Mossad, at least, asset, and probably much more than that. And the Mossad has decided to primp and prime him as a future Prime Minister for their purposes, though not necessarily for Israel’s good.
A relevant digression: Oren was not the first high-level Netanyahu appointment I knew in Israel. In 1997 he appointed Dr. Dore Gold his UN Ambassador and I knew him somewhat more than superficially. My piano playing pal Bob Blake was friends with the Wouk brothers, and I knew one of them, Joey from our days at Hebrew University. The Wouk’s father, Herman, wrote such hit books as The Caine Mutiny and War And Remembrance, the first much better than the second. The Wouk brothers were friends with Dore Gold and we all met at Bob’s apartment in the center of Jerusalem on numerous occasions. I liked Dore, I found out, more than he liked me, but I did not consider him UN ambassadorial material.
But once in his new appointment, I understood the reason for his advancement. He began writing articles, endlessly praising the personal advice and written diplomacy of Henry Kissinger. Gold was on board and with my different reading of Kissinger, we were now officially on two separate ships…his, the far more dangerous for Israel.
Two Prime Ministers who came out of Israel’s Washington embassy were Yitzhak Rabin and Binyamin Netanyahu. Kissinger was the primary American handler of both. Rabin began, in 1968, a modest kibbutz socialist and ended up going on the electoral stump for Nixon and Kissinger by 1972. During the Yom Kippur War of 1973, Kissinger told PM Golda Meir that if she wanted Israel rearmed, she would have to step down and somehow, appoint the political novice, Rabin, as her successor.
In September 1995, barely a month before he was murdered, Rabin told an unamusing story on Israeli tv. Apparently, Kissinger phoned him to complain about Netanyahu. It seems that he interrupted Kissinger the day before, asking Henry to alter his Golan Heights position. While I got the message loud and clear that both Israel’s PM and the leader of the opposition were run by Kissinger, Rabin viewed the story as something that passed for lighthearted.
Rabin was corrupted after he arrived in Washington, Netanyahu was pre-corrupted, but both saw their careers rise by associating with Kissinger’s think tank, the Council On Foreign Relations. And Israel pays the price with a government run by a mentality that has nothing to do with its people’s actual thinking. And though Israel just elected a right- wing government in a landslide, what they get are rulers about to fete a Nazi pope and, sending a talentless anti-religious cretin named Achinoam Nimni to the Eurovision, a big deal in Israel, but only on her condition that she invite an Arab to sing with her.
In short, voting is a waste of time and change is cosmetic. In Michael Oren, Washington took its first steps to sneaking him in to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, whether the Israelis or Netanyahu like it or not.
As for who Oren will listen to as ambassador; as everyone says, once in the Mossad, always in the Mossad.

Zionists arrest 14-year-old Arab kid

Zionists have arrested a fourteen-year-old Arab kid who hurled stones at Jewish cars near Zichron Yaakov. And just what are we supposed to do with him? After a few months in jail at most he will come out, a hero and a role-model to his friends.

Two other Arabs were arrested with firebombs near the Kalandia checkpoint. They had planned to set Jewish border-policemen on fire.

Dog bites man is no news

For half a century, the name of Kfar Kassem has been a rallying call for pro-Palestinian activists. This was where an IDF contingent massacred Palestinian civilians, children included. That was a man-bites-dog story, big news.

The opposite news won’t make international headlines. Israeli police have arrested eight residents of Kfar Kassem who this January murdered Alexander Pozbadetski, a guard in Tel Aviv, and wounded two other Jews. Alexander helped evict the Arabs’ friends from a night club where they were stalking a Jewish girl.

Arab doctor condemned Israel a bit too early

Yesterday, a Jewish woman broke up a press conference by an Israeli Arab doctor in Tel Aviv. The doctor related what to some Jews was a heart-rending story about his three female relatives working in Gaza on a peace mission—and getting killed by IDF.

Oops… One of them was brought to Israel for treatment, in critical condition but alive. And—surprise—Jewish doctors found a metal ball in her head, which means she was hit by a Palestinian rocket or IED.

While his relatives were being killed in Gaza, the doctor stayed in Israel illegally, as in fact he had done for years. Instead of going back to Gaza every night as his work visa specifies, the doctor—and tens of thousands of other Arabs—stayed in Israel with friends who knowingly assisted him in his immigration crime.

Israel-Gaza: Food for rockets

Palestinian freedom fighters shipped to Israel a number of rockets, including one Grad-type rocket delivered to Ashkelon. Incidentally, all the rockets came damaged and didn’t quite reach their Jewish customers.

Reciprocating the Gazans’ generosity, Defense Ministry opened Gaza crossings so that our Muslim brothers can receive still more aid from their friends in the UN.

Seriously, Israel is not without blame here, as we closed Gaza after Hamas’ takeover instead of treating the putsch as a Palestinian internal affair. A year of the blockade has shown that it won’t break popular support for Hamas, and there’s no logic whatsoever in continuing the highly controversial blockade of Gaza.

The blockade is useless as any half-measures. If Gazans attack Israel, we must carpet-bomb Gaza. If they don’t, we don’t care what particular thugs currently rule them. The blockade doesn’t work.

Riots continue in Hebron

Insulted by the ease with which the police had evicted them from Peace House, settlers and radicals vented their discontent on local Arabs. Unusually, yeshiva students from Kiryat Arba joined the Hilltop Youth to vandalize the property our Palestinian enemies hold illegally on Jewish land in and near Hebron.
A still-unclear number of Arab houses were torched, and young Jews clashed with Arabs. Both sides pelted each other with stones. There were isolated clashes with military police.

The shooting incident has been clarified. It was not a mad Jewish settler shooting live ammunition at defenseless Palestinians, but a Jew with plastic bullets defending his friends against a charging Arab crowd. According to Halacha law, he was fully entitled to shoot the attacking Arabs dead rather than use non-lethal ammunition. Later in the evening, Arabs started shooting in the direction of Jewish houses.

Abu Mazen praised the eviction of Jews from Peace House and called on the Israeli government to evict all Jews from Hebron. The UN’s Mideast coordinator also praised the violence against Jews, using harsh words he doesn’t employ regarding the Palestinian rocket attacks on Israeli towns.
Besides the usual culprits (Barak, Peres, Livni, Kadima, Avodah, Meretz), Likud and Lieberman’s Israel Beitenu also criticized the settlers’ violence, and called on them to abstain from opposing troops. Shas has consistently opposed the eviction, and the only MK who joined the defenders came from Shas.
Barak gave the order for the attack even before negotiating with the Council of Settlements. The meeting was a smokescreen for the police preparations.
Hebron riots by right-wingers are excellent propaganda for leftist parties, as they presumably draw moderate voters away from the ostensibly right-wing Likud.

IDF established hundreds of roadblocks around settlements and junctions in Judea and Samaria to prevent other settlers from rioting or coming to aid the Hebronites.

Obama’s cousin-in-law a fake Jew

Capers FunnyeObama’s wife’s cousin Capers Funnye is a fake Jew and self-proclaimed “rabbi.” He believes the true Jews are black and calls normal Jews racist for being unwilling to accept those fakes. To be sure, they are not even the Ethiopian Jews, but common African-Americans.

Capers Funnye underwent liberal conversion to Judaism, as did many of his followers. Israel doesn’t recognize such conversions, but liberal rabbis of Chicago admitted Funnye to the city’s Board of Rabbis. Their city is the home of the infamous “Chicago Israelites,” the black anti-Semites posing as Jews.

Capers Funnye’s ordination comes from an outfit in Harlem called the “Israelite Board of Rabbis, Inc.,” which is not recognized by any Jewish rabbinical body. For decades, the “Israelite Board of Rabbis” has supplied fake black rabbis to fake black Jews. Now it also supplies Obama with fake Jewish cousins.

Funnye serves as a consultant to “The Black Holocaust Museum,” an institution that hijacks the Holocaust into the service of American blacks. These people compare their life in America (which is much better than in their native Africa) to the Holocaust.

Most incredibly, Obama’s campaign is using that fake Jewish cousin and “rabbi” as a proof of Obama’s pro-Jewish attitude. A great fellow is that Hussein: his friends range from government anti-Semites (Brzezinski, Lake) to religious anti-Semites (his pastor), to radical anti-Semites (Samantha Power), to the Black hijackers of Judaism.

Rabbi Meir Kahane condemned the Israeli government for allowing a few of them to move to Israel after several countries had expelled those troublesome fakes, and he vowed to expel them, too.

Nasrallah: Jewish corpses worth many terrorists

Nasrallah claims that Hezbollah would demand Samir Kuntar and other Muslim terrorists in exchange for bodies of Regev and Goldwasser.
Israel had previously released minor terrorists in exchange for bodies, though the official policy remains “bodies for bodies.” Kuntar is a prized terrorist: horribly brutal, a celebrity among Arabs and leftist Jews, and unrepentant.
Thanks to his Jewish friends, Kuntar, a murderer of Jewish family, was allowed to father a number of children while in prison. The same privilege was denied to Yigal Amir for many years.

JCF Treason

from MAOZ

To the Jewish Community of the San Francisco Bay Area:

Jewish Club Maoz regretfully marks the changing of the guard at the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation. We have previously opposed their support for giving away Jewish land for a `two-state solution’ to Arab aggression, funneling Jewish donations to support Arab causes in Israel, its blind and unyielding support for the leadership of the Israeli government regardless of its immoral expulsion of Jews from our homeland, and their treatment of YESHA Jewish residents as second class citizens.

The Federation claims to give `continuity to Jewish values’ (http://www.sfjcf.org/aboutjcf/OurMission.asp), but has consistently
ignored the three pillars of Judaism: Torah, Jewish People and Jewish Land. They have alienated the religiously observant of our community by forging political alliances with those who spit on our traditions.
The Federation uses funds donated in good faith by those who believe that they are fostering Jewish traditions to fund `progressive’ causes. We urge you to look on their own web site (http://www.sfjcf.org/howthemoney/programs/) to see for yourself just how Jewish the programs they fund truly are.

Many understand that the label `progressive’ is just a code word for `socialist’, which is an ideology in direct opposition to traditional Judaism. The `progressives’ have finally tipped their hand openly by the appointment of the new CEO.

Daniel J. Sokatch has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties (JCF) effective July 15, 2008. He will oversee the Federation’s staff of 105, and its four satellite offices located in the Federation’s service areas and Israel.

With such friends, who needs enemies!

We urge the many who perform tzedaka in the tradition of our fathers to do so with open eyes. Investigate what is being done with your well-intentioned donations. If you truly support Jewish continuity, we urge you to give directly to organizations that you believe further this goal. Don’t fall for slick, big-budget advertisements or self-aggrandizing gala awards dinners. The money spent on that could be better spent on the true needs of our community.

Below is a little history on your new Federation CEO and his fellow travelers. You will notice a recurring theme of far left political
activism and the twisting of traditional Jewish values to whatever they now promote as `social justice’.

`Forward’ says this about him: http://dev.launch-box.net:10000/article.aspx?CID=1&ID=147

He’s mentioned in http://www.think-israel.org/neuwirth.peacecamp.html as part of radical left

He’s among the active supporters for Michael Lerner http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/0211-09.htm

He defends Arab domination of the Temple Mount:
“Rabbi Jacobs, Sokatch and Dr. Maher Hathout, senior adviser to MPAC, concurred in denouncing Israeli right-winger Ariel Sharon for provoking the Palestinian uprising Sept. 28 when he walked on the Muslim’s sacred Haram al-Sharif.”
