After Rabbi Elyashiv sided with Arabs against Jews visiting the Temple Mount (we’re ritually impure, you see; no problem about Arabs), the Temple Mount Institute called on Jews to ascend the Temple Mount to commemorate the 843rd anniversary of Rambam’s visit to the mount.
Now Rabbi Elyashiv will have to prove himself a higher religious authority than Rambam, who did ascend the Temple Mount.
Temple Mount Halacha forbids Arabs to go up the sacred mountain. Temple Mount Halacha should be important for all Jews but we see how easily some of them break our laws.
The Jewish government simply doesn’t care about what’s going on in the country. Jewish orphans Haiti has ousted are a burden and this law violation is nothing special either.
