Water crisis in Israel

Israeli Water Authority warns that water level in Israel’s all three aquifers will fall below the red line this year, meaning that fresh water will mix with salt water or other pollutants, making it unusable.
The Water Authority demands further cuts of water supplies to Israeli farmers, draconian rates for non-essential use which includes private gardens, and Spartan use of water by Jewish families.
Israel continues uninterrupted supply of water to Gaza and the Palestinian Authority, and Jordan pumps water from the Jordan River at will.
