Olmert, Abbas abandoned their far-fetched idea of the full return to 1967 borders, and again agreed on territorial exchange: Israel would retain major settlement blocs and compensate Palestinians with Jewish land in other areas.
If implemented, the peace plan would break the settler movement: those in the blocs will go along with it and abandon the other settlers who face eviction.
