Shimon Peres who duped Rabin and Israel into accepting the Oslo illusion is no one else than the one, that Moshe Sharett the first foreign minister of Israel, and one time prime minister of Israel, have said this on Shimon Peres, in 1957.
“I have stated that I totally and utterly reject Peres and consider his rise to prominence a malignant, immoral disgrace. I will rend my clothes in mourning for the State if I see him become a minister in the Israeli government”.
Itshak Rabin had no better words for Peres either, and hade this to say in 1979.”On a number of occasions….defense minister Peres behaved as if he were out to challenge the Cabinet’s authority by taking his difference to the public….There can be no greater treat to the public confidence in its Government….Peres use the media to disrupt the smooth running of the Government when it serves his personal interest”.
Peres now is the elder statement of Israel, guiding the rest of the cabinet into the same path. Prime Minister Olmert is his mouthpiece, who declared on Friday that he is willing to give back the Golan height back to Syria. The same Syria who arm Hezbollah in Lebanon, and host to the real leader of Hama’s, Kaled Mashal. That Syria, that is the proxy of Iran in our region.
