Israeli prosecution filed charges of racist incitement against two rabbis who at the meeting in Jerusalem insisted that Jews must study separately from Arabs (that’s a major religious concept in Judaism) and abusively called Arabs two-legged donkeys (something most Israelis would agree with).

I agree with the rabbis–Arabs are like donkeys, stubborn.
Would they have prefered the rabbis used the alternative word for donkey–asses?
From what I’ve read on the matter the rabbis were extremely frustrated and what some are interpreting as racism could also be interpreted as frustration and an excited utterance, which in US courts is significant.
