Rabbis encouraged Morris Talansky, the Council of Torah and Kabbalah sages

disclosed it pushed Rabbi Moshe Talansky to testify against Olmert in the effort to stem Israeli disengagement from Judea and Jerusalem. Talansky received blessing from very authoritative Rabbi Haim Kanevsky who recently made headlines with halachic decision on boycotting Arab labor.
The rabbis efforts, however well-meaning and thoughtful, might be misguided, as Netanyahu and Barak would cede the Land of Israel to Arabs just like Olmert does.
