The Lebanese militia prepared an excellent PR move: it dispatched to Gaza a ship crewed with women only.
Israel is preparing to stop the ship with commando action.
Instead, the ship should be allowed through to Gaza, since it certainly carries no weapons. If Israel seeks a PR victory, the Navy can seize the Gaza port to control the ship’s unloading. When a country has no will to fight, it fights for PR effect.
The “women ship” may become a test case for new tactics. Nothing precludes Syria, Hezbollah, or Hamas from marching a female mob into Israel. And then Jews will have to decide whether their national goals are sufficiently important to abandon PR and start shooting the Arabs.
I feel sorry for the Israel and the IDF!
Whatever they do to enforce the blockade will be wrong in the eyes of the public worldwide.
If it was any other country imposing a blockade for genuine security reasons the so-called peace activists would not even bother to try to flout this, and using women to boot!
It`s always Israel that is being unreasonable in spite of being rocketed constantly and other attacks where they have had to build the wall and so on.
What patience they must have, I doubt whether other nations would tolerate what they have to put up with!
