So Ray’s coment that it was a Kalashnikov was spot on and showed Obadiah to be wrong (again).
Hence Linearthinker’s posting is an attempt to scate over Obadiah’s error.
Let’s try to throw some logic and common sense on this website. It needs it.
When it comes to hard cash and lots and lots of it, look to the US which showers 3 billion dollars a year on Israel together with another similar amount in weapons so Israel can throw its weight around in the Middle East.
I think someone missed their morning intel brief at some point in time. Least we forget, the U.S. does not only supply M-16’s, though it is the weapon of choice; it bucks up the american arms industry to provide that weapon, the U.S. will supply whatever type and quantity of weapon the end user desires. Trust me on this one, they have supplied AK-47’s in the Middle East, in Israel , or rather to the P.A because they have asked for them. They are simpler to use and less prone to jamming, oh, and every good terrorist has trained with them in the muslim country of his choice, and knows that weapon well. Look at the pics they provide. It is not just the muslims supplying these 47’s. Only a fool would surmise this.
Obadiah did not miss on this one, he just did not provide the full stack of info available to him. His only error was in thinking we “all” were more intelligent than that and in fact were keeping up on the intel.

The point I’d like to emphasize, and which Obadiah made, is that the police, for whatever their reasons, stood passively while the murders occurred. It was the intervention of armed citizens who happened on the scene, and who put aside self interest, that ultimately ended the carnage. We’ve seen the pussified authorities and the P.C. gun bans take their toll too often, notably at Columbine, Virginia Tech, and Northern Illinois University. Molon Labe
