General James Jones called on the Israeli government to open the Gaza crossings.
His demand makes sense. It is clear now that the border closure is not helping to bring Shalit back. Free cargo traffic to Gaza does not preclude Israel from controlling the movement of strategic goods, and in any case Hamas smuggles enough cement and pipes from Egypt to build bunkers and rockets.
A better option would be to close Israel’s border with Gaza forever, as any sovereign state is entitled to do, but allow Gazans to bring goods through the Rafah crossing with Egypt.
Let Obama lead by example. Mexicans are not rocket attacking American civilians.
So let America open the border to Mexicans as an eg for Israel to follow.
How about Cuba? Or what of Americas invasion of that dangerous little country…Grenada!
Oooh Grenada was a real threat….1500 Miles away and not one attack on America….
And what about 911? America did not respond kindly…no apologies neccessary when it comes to defending American civilians.
But Jews? Well …they are different!

Gaza blockades Obama from making Israel accept American peace plan. But Americans don’t understand that Israel will never be able to do it. Not Gaza blockades Obama, but Obama doesn’t respect Jews and wants them to perform his will.
Peace plan + January 2010 + Israel is what Obama strives for but he doesn’t take into account what Jews want.
