Leftists Attorney General Mazuz didn’t find enough evidence to indict Israel’s Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger on corruption charges, but demands that he leaves his office of the head of Rabbinical Court. Metzger is notoriously unclean in financial matters, as only natural for any bureaucrat, religious or otherwise. RAMBAM warned against religious leaders assuming state’s (Exilarch’s) powers.
