Livni compares Judea to Gush Katif

Trying to prove that Israel doesn’t expand the settlements to grab the Promised Land, Tzipi Livni told Rice that Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria won’t be an obstacle to withdrawal, just like Gush Katif weren’t.
While the rest of the country took the Gush Katif lesson, for Livni it is a proper example of the government being willing and able to repress Jews.
Rice asked Israeli government to do more to better the lives of Palestinians. The simple among us thought that fiduciary duty of a government is to help its citizens rather than enemies.

Why should the government change now?
We need to stop nit pickin at the antisemitism in the rest of the world and focus on the worst of it right at home.
If we are not going to change our hearts why don’t we just sit down and give up.
