In a rare showing of common sense, Jerusalem court sentenced an Arab for rape by deception.
The Arab told his Jewish girlfriend that he was a Jew. Arabs often do just that because they look similar to Jews and speak Hebrew better than many Jews. After realizing that the Arab had lied to her, the girl complained to the police.
The court shrouded its ruling in political correctness, citing another part of the deception: the Arab allegedly told her that he was interested in marriage. This is transparent nonsense, as the couple had sex minutes after meeting each other.
