Druzes are Israeli textbook example of Arab loyalty to Israel. Druzes even serve in the IDF. Druzes of the Golan Heights conducted annual demonstration against Israeli annexation of the Golan Heights. Israeli Druzes chanted pro-Syrian verses and brandished portraits of Syrian autocrat Assad. Druze member of Israeli Knesset attended the demonstration and demanded that Israel returns the Golan Heights to Syria.
Druzes are traditionally loyal to any state they happen to live in, but now sense that Israel will return the Golan Heights to Syria, and prove Assad their loyalty.
