Yet the US administration decided to support foreign governments contrary to America’s national interest.

Israel, with her 120-200 untested nuclear bombs, suffers the same problem. As Rabbi Kahane used to say, the Jewish fist has to be attached to a Jewish head. With Bibi at the helm, the head is lacking.

Obama downgraded his ambition from destroying Iran’s nuclear program to merely containing it. Saudi Arabia and Egypt were forced to bring their own nuclear programs into the open to counter Iran’s growing influence. For political reasons, Israel cannot bomb the Egyptian and Saudi nuclear facilities, and soon every sheikh will be sitting on his own nuclear bombs. Some will be curious enough to press the red button.

The winner of the Iraqi elections could not form a government without paying a vassal visit to Iran. Only Iran’s blessing, rather than America’s, allowed him to form the coalition.

North Korea defies sanctions and sells nuclear technologies. Forced to support US actions against Muslims in Afghanistan, the Pakistani regime is crumbling, and the Taliban have captured a town wherein some of Pakistan’s disassembled nukes have been stored. In Afghanistan, Karzai is trying to change sides and support the Taliban and Ahmadinejad.

In 1986, no one expected that one man, Gorbachev, could bring down the Soviet empire during his term in the office. We may see the same thing happen with Obama.

The United States and Russia will decrease their nuclear-armed ballistic missiles by about 30%. Great? Irrelevant. Many of these missiles are already obsolete and would naturally become inoperable during the seven years the treaty allows for the reduction. The remaining missiles, about 1,500 for each side, are more than enough to penetrate each country’s defenses and destroy them both many times over, if need be.

The treaty will have no substantial effect on other nuclear weapons.

Historically, the issue is not clear. In numerous cases, the Turkish government attempted to protect the deported Armenians. Whatever the case, by now everyone believes the story, and the American government’s persistent refusal to recognize the affair as genocide is only meant to placate Turkey. To that end, the US forced Armenia to sign a humiliating accord with Turkey which glossed over the genocide.

The American appeasement of Turkey is worse than pointless. Many years ago, the silence signaled American support for Turkey’s secular regime, but today it shows American complacence toward Turkey’s Islamist policies. If the US keeps quiet on genocide, then certainly it will tolerate anything else Turkey does today.

Those people have already confessed and seek martyrdom, so why waste public money?

The Palestinian was overreacting to being posted to Afghanistan. Indeed, sending a devout Muslim into a Muslim country alongside infidel forces is odd.
