The Israeli foreign ministry is okay with this gross offense.

Fatah has already proved its resilience by accepting the Egyptian terms of reconciliation. It was Hamas that refused to sign the agreement over Abbas’ indecisive position on the Goldstone report.

Obama won’t be able to cut off aid in the event that the terrorist groups reconcile. Today, the US supplies aid even to Hamas-controlled Gaza, and previously provided aid to Fatah-Hamas unity government. The US administration will save face by claiming that it channels money solely to Fatah and not to Hamas’ part of the government.

The White House claimed the sales are intended to combat Al Qaeda terrorists. Last time we checked, they had no navy. Jews remain the only target for those weapons.

The statement came on the heels of the US military surge in Afghanistan, a green light for the use of US drones in Pakistani airspace against Muslim radicals, and another drone attack in Yemen, which killed the imam who inspired the Fort Hood shooter.

When his peacenik policies fail, Obama may well become hawkish.

The planners must be insane to imagine Iran attacking America. In modern history, Iran has waged no wars of aggression.

The Lebanese government has declared that in wartime Hezbollah will be integrated into the Lebanese army—or rather, it will be allowed to subsume the army it infiltrated long ago.

The Lebanese army’s only target is Israel.

The US Afghani campaign is doomed, just like any war in which the occupier lacks the will to fight properly, regardless of collateral damage.

Quite a lesson to AIPAC.

Homeland Security is working around the clock to prevent some imagined vigilantes from taking revenge on Muslims.

Palestinians started demanding the settlement freeze as a precondition only after Obama leaned heavily on Israel to stop the construction. Essentially, Abbas only picked up Obama’s tune that the construction must be stopped immediately.

It would be easy for Obama to change his view, but almost impossible for Abbas to backtrack. If Abbas starts negotiating with Netanyahu despite the ongoing construction, however small, Hamas would trumpet his weakness and further diminish Fatah’s chances in the upcoming elections. To counter Hamas’ propaganda, Fatah will have to employ still more militant rhetoric.

There is nothing to negotiate about: each side knows the other side’s demands. The Palestinians cannot sign peace without the Temple Mount, and the Israeli government is not yet ready to cede it.

Obama’s betrayal of Abbas is similar to his abandonment of Karzai. Rahm Emanuel openly criticizes the embattled Afghani president, Clinton’s political advisor coaches his electoral opponent, and Obama reportedly refuses personal communication with Karzai. No wonder: Obama dislikes Bush’s puppet.

Obama’s readiness to meet with Erdogan contrasts with the numerous delays that occurred before the American president agreed to meet Netanyahu.

The only concession wrung from the Palestinians was postponement of the resolution until March.

Ironically, Fatah was Israel’s major ally in waging the war in Gaza.

Now, that is odd. If the Iranian threat is credible, why not allow Israel bomb the ayatollahs? If Iran is years away from a nuclear bomb and possibly is not after it at all, as Gates has asserted before, why the arms race?

Obama also promised withdrawal from Iraq—which, according to his electoral promises, should be already done. Amid surging terrorism and crumbling security, America’s withdrawal from Iraq would not be dissimilar to their withdrawal from Vietnam.

Obama pledged to fight “extremism” in Pakistan and Afghanistan—i.e., the honest Muslims there who don’t want Western political culture. So far, the Islamists have the upper hand.

Now, the curious part is that his wife was in the car—and was killed accordingly.

While many NGOs decry the Israeli assassination of Hamas leader Salah Shehadeh along with his relatives, a similar American act gave rise to no condemnations.

In previous years, America has issued almost no visas to Palestinian refugees.

Touted informally as a trial balloon for resettling Palestinians from the refugee camps, the move is unlikely to succeed: Hamas and the Arab states want the refugee problem to continue unsolved, and will campaign heavily in the camps against relocation. Also, other countries are less quixotic than the United States, and won’t resettle close to a million Palestinians.

Neither does Fatah want them in the West Bank, where they would soon begin to engage in crime and terror, the only things they have known for the past sixty years.

Obama has banned Apache sales to Israel, lest we kill some poor Palestinian terrorists.

Obama could not imagine that Arabs don’t know of the US Civil War which liberated the blacks. By comparing their struggle to destroy Israel with the American blacks’ struggle for liberation, Obama unmistakably urged the Palestinians to start a Civil War.

A sane person would start with the major problem, which is obviously Iraq. But Obama cracks down on the less important and thus irrelevant problem of the settlements. According to Obama, America’s major problem with Muslims is… colonialism. He mistook the Middle East for his Kenyan homeland. Most of the region was never colonized, and certainly America had no part in it.

Even if Obama somehow arranges for an Arab-Israeli peace treaty, it won’t end the Arabs’ hostility toward America. Arabs will hold it responsible for carving Israel from the “Palestinian homeland.”

Obama should better listen to Ayatollah Khomeini: Muslims hate America because it is the Great Tempter; for its pop and porn, Las Vegas and New York, jeans and Coke.

Obama cannot be stupid to the extent of not realizing that his militant brouhaha closes the door to negotiations with Iran—even if he actually believes such negotiations could bear fruit.

There is a small chance that Obama’s opposition to an attack on Iran is similar to Egypt’s opposition to the Israeli operation in Gaza—an attempt to get Iran to let down its guard, leaving it unprepared for the raid. European rhetoric in support of stronger sanctions on Iran might also indicate a trend toward interest in attacking it: the EU countries prefer sanctions to military operations.

A few months ago, the US supplied Israel with a powerful X-Band radar which can detect Iranian missile launches within minutes, allowing Israel enough time to confidently shoot them down. The only way the Iranians can threaten Israel with missiles is if the Americans won’t pass us the radar data.

Obama reiterated that the military option remains against Iran, though the ayatollahs demand a non-belligerent stance as a precondition for talks. It seems that Obama is moving away from talks and back to the useless sanctions.

Something must be wrong with a $300-billion-plus a year army which cannot bomb the mullahs’ nuclear program out of existence, and which suggests to the political echelon humble negotiations.

Everything in this world is temporary, and delaying Iranian nukes by a few decades make sense.

Gates is currently negotiating with Iran a transit for American troops and weapons to Afghanistan. The Russians have bribed central Asian states to refuse alternative bases to America, and the Pakistani route is increasingly vulnerable to mujaheddin. Given its need for their cooperation, the US Army cannot afford to attack Iran.

Obama agreed to release the aid to a Palestinian unity government, provided that Hamas ministers approve rhetorically of Israel’s existence. The role of Abbas’s Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades in terrorism is ignored.

America and Iran compete in pouring money into Lebanon to bribe the voters. Electoral fraud is institutionalized in Lebanon, where each party distributes its own bulletins to voters before elections to verify that the paid-for number of votes was actually cast.

Previous US-sponsored elections in Lebanon brought Hezbollah to power, and it will win a landslide victory this time.

Neither the US Administration nor the supposedly friendly Turkish military informed Israel about the sale. It was once customary for previous US administrations to consult with Israel regarding major arms-sales to the Middle East.

Curiously, the US first pushed for democratic elections in Lebanon, which brought Hezbollah to power—from which position it now works to subvert a democratically elected party.

In a separate development, Obama reportedly agreed to drop the only precondition to talks with Iran: the mullahs are no longer required to stop uranium enrichment immediately. Doing so for the duration of talks will allow them to build two or three bombs safely.

Obama has no chance to arrive at an understanding with the Iranians on Afghanistan. Iran supports the Taliban to rein in the Afghan Sunni terrorist groups, which conduct cross-border raids—and to bug the Americans. The US, on the other hand, supports the Sunni terrorist groups to bug the ayatollahs.

“Terror” sounded too racist.

US senators authorized the war without even bothering to read the CIA brief; only seven out of the 100 authorized officials read the report which, we now know, confirmed our views.

In six years, the death toll exceeded a million Iraqis. As terrorist operations gain momentum, the toll will exceed the 1.5 million deaths the United States caused in Afghanistan when it sponsored the mujahedeen in the 1980s.

Nevertheless, the US Administration presumes to lecture Israel on our morality toward our Arab enemies.

The clown called upon the Iranian leadership to stop making threats. In fact, Iran had never threatened anyone. Ahmadinejad merely quoted Ayatollah Khomeini’s famous line that the Zionist state will eventually vanish from the book of time, which was widely mistranslated as “wiped off the map,” and Iranian leaders threaten military reprisal only in the event they are attacked.

Obama urged the Iranians to denounce terror. In their view, Hezbollah and Hamas are freedom fighters like with Mujaheddin, whom the Americans supported in Afghanistan.

Previously, Iranian leaders have named their preconditions for talks: a wholesale apology for the harm America has done to all Muslim people, withdrawl of support for Israel, and acceptance of Iran’s nuclear program.

Gates implied that just as there were no WMDs in Iraq, so there is no military nuclear program in Iran. The parallel is not only wrong about Iran, but Iraq as well: US troops removed massive quantities of low-enriched uranium from Iraq, selling them to a nuclear power generator in Canada.

Gates, a former CFR member and holdover from George Bush’s administration, staunchly opposes attacking Iran.

Blair notably abandoned the earlier NIE that Iran has no nuclear weapons program, but in a politically correct way: he based his estimates on the NIE’s statement that Iran actually ran a military nukes program in 2003, and implied that the program continues.

Obama’s oxymoron highlights his leftist thinking: likewise, he seeks a constructive dialogue with Iranian ayatollahs who hold to Khomeini’s image of America as the Great Tempter. He also seeks rapprochement with Assad’s terrorist regime, signs of moderation from Hamas, and dialogue through Britain with Hezbollah’s imaginary political wing. Obama’s thinking reflects the academic convention that every problem has a solution. In the real world, most problems are solved by killing them out. Israel, too, shrinks from that uncomfortable realization.

The amount does not include the Fatah police wages, which are paid from Israeli tax transfers.

Obama supports a Fatah-Hamas unity government, but finances Fatah police whose only target, theoretically, are Hamas terrorists.

One can easily guess that the next National Intelligence Estimate will again exonerate Iran of nuclear weapons aspirations.

Indeed, a four-thousand-year-old Jewish nation needs recognition for its divinely sanctioned state from an Arab terrorist group.

But suppose Hamas were to abandon its characteristic honestly and, like Fatah, lie that from now on it welcomes the Jews. Would those words change the reality on the ground?

Clinton fails to ask herself about the basis for Hamas-Fatah reconciliation. Hamas absolutely rejects anything less than the 1949 borders for the Palestinian state, and upholds the armed struggle against the Zionists. Fatah can only join Hamas and compete with it in elections by accepting those terms. The unification radicalizes Fatah rather than moderating Hamas. Indeed, a Hamas-only government would be less radical than a joint one, as Hamas won’t need to prove its credentials by differentiating itself from Fatah’s Israeli collaborators.

On a positive note, Ross has been taken away from Israel and cannot bug us with his ever-failing peace schemes.

Obama wants friends on both ends: he continues military aid to Israel and reconstruction aid to the Arabs.

The US Administration asked the Syrian terrorist regime to involve Hamas terrorist group with the PLO terrorists so that they all can make peace with Israel.

During the visit, Kerry received a letter from Hamas to Barack Obama and agreed to hand him that letter. This is the first official correspondence between the terrorist group and an American administration. Obama has vowed not to recognize Hamas until it recognizes Israel (a big feat, indeed), but reneged by  accepting the letter.

Obama also approved Fatah-Hamas efforts at forging a unity government, which would allow the terrorists who reject Israel’s existence (as all Muslims do) to sit in a recognized government and receive foreign aid.
Emboldened by US policy, Hamas would intensify its efforts to subvert rival Fatah terrorists rather than join them. If Obama accepts a Fatah-Hamas government, he has no reason to reject a purely Hamas one.
Obama cooperates with Hamas even as the terrorist group continues shelling Israel.

Rice confirmed our suspicions: the current lull in terrorist attacks in Iraq is due, she said, to the US pressure on Iran. Now, what kind of a pressure can change the minds of mullahs who ignored all international sanctions? The only pressure there was is this: cease supporting terrorism in Iraq or we will put an end to your nuclear program.

As usual, the US Administration used Israel as a bargaining chip with the Arabs.
