Arabs are normal, want to kill their enemies

At the annual event commemorating the founding of Fatah, the Palestinian ‘mufti of Jerusalem’ reminded the audience of their religious duty to exterminate every single Jew. And his words are common sense: the Arabs know that the only way to win a war is to kill your enemies.

In contrast, consider the Jews who hunt ‘racists’ in our own state, sue soldiers who deal appropriately with Arab terrorists, and send tax transfers to Fatah, which advocates killing us.

Hamas joining the PLO is not bad at all

The Israeli government puzzled us by slamming the Arabs’ decision to bring Hamas and PIJ into the PLO. The PLO is not exactly a sheep: it includes Fatah and PFLP terrorist groups. PFLP is still active directly, and Fatah acts through its Al Aqsa Martyrs offshoot.

Joining the PLO would force Hamas to abide by the recognition of Israel stipulated in the Oslo Accords. If anything, such a commitment would moderate the terrorist group.

Economic blockade of Fatah was short-lived

The White House has released $200 million in aid to Fatah, which had been blocked temporarily by the Senate. The Israeli government, according to Palestinian officials, has agreed to resume tax transfers soon after that.

Palestinians support international terrorism

Journalists discovered that Abbas granted Palestinian diplomatic passports to two terrorists from Kazakhstan. In that Central Asian state, they were charged with terror and racketeering. Diplomatic passports gave them immunity.

Fatah’s fake moderation

After USAID and the Geneva Initiative launched an advertising campaign in Israel depicting Palestinian terrorists as proponents of peace, the terrorists were quick to deny their moderation. Their negotiator Erekat denies even his own appearance in the video used in the ads, saying it was used out of context.

Meanwhile, Peres said to Abbas that no one is better suited than he is to bring peace. Which is somewhat true, because since Oslo Abbas has been about the only person in Fatah genuinely interested in reaching a settlement with Israel. For that very reason, he remained the odd man out, bitterly opposed by much of Fatah’s leadership, thus unable to implement any concessions.

Israeli leaders can lie during the elections and then propose defeatist ‘peace’ moves. Begin, Rabin, and Netanyahu were able to sign shameful withdrawals only because they felt safe in their treason. Abbas, on the other hand, knows that there are Hamas and other groups like it out there, who will nip his treason in the bud.

Netanyahu admits Palestinian police offer no security

Speaking to Joe Lieberman and John McCain, the PM confirmed that the US-trained Fatah security forces are somewhat active in torturing Hamas and Palestinian liberal dissidents, but do not crack down on Fatah’s own terrorists from Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades and Tanzim.

To please the Americans, the government normally praises Fatah police’s activities.

The government’s fake fumes

The Israeli government complained to the US administration that the PA honored Dalal Mughrabi, a female terrorist who murdered 37 Jewish civilians (including children, if that makes any difference).

Too late. The PA has been honoring Mughrabi for many years, with schools and a stadium named after her— just as Israel honors its own terrorists.

What is bizarre is the fact that Israel complains to the Americans instead of cutting off tax transfers, reducing the water and electricity supply, or withdrawing Abbas’ transit privileges.

Palestine abandons democracy

Four years after the US administration, to great fanfare, forced Israel to accept the democratic elections in Palestine which brought Hamas to power, democracy has been rescinded. The PLO council will allow Abbas to stay in power until elections are held in the West Bank or Gaza—that is, until the unlikely reconciliation with Hamas.

Abbas has remained in office illegally since his presidential term expired last winter. He was to have passed the authority to Hamas’ spokesman of the Palestinian council.

Fayad supports terrorism

The iconic Palestinian moderate condemned Israel for refusing to release two arch-terrorists: Tanzim leader Marwan Bargouti and PLFP leader Ahmed Saadat. Both terrorist groups continue to attack Jewish civilians.

Fayad remains undeterred by the fact that Israel pays his salary and funds his government through tax transfers. After Israel refused to release Barghouti, the allegedly moderate terrorist took off his mask and called on Palestinians to kidnap more Israeli soldiers.

Fayad also criticized Israel for stalling the peace process by refusing to abandon Jerusalem to the Palestinians. In the same way, the Nazis accused Czechoslovakia and Poland of torpedoing German peace efforts by refusing to cede Sudetenland and Danzig.

Israel is not accommodating enough for Abbas

The chief Palestinian thug has announced that he won’t run in the 2010 elections. Abbas is doing this in order to prompt Clinton to soothe him by pushing Israel to make concessions.

The Americans are unlikely to allow Abbas to resign because his only potential replacement is Dahlan, a Palestinian strongman with no support in Netanyahu’s cabinet. It would take a leftist government in Israel to negotiate with Dahlan or release another possible leader, Marwan Barghouti, from jail.
