Arabs rioting near the Lion’s Gate in Jerusalem hurled rocks at Jews. A Jewish boy is hospitalized after being wounded. The attack happened on Israeli Independence Day. Yeah, “independence” when the country is one-fifth Arab and counting.

The police, who gladly arrested Jewish football fans who insulted Arab cleaners after the match, ignored the incident because it is normal for Arabs to attack Jews.

Egyptian wall cannot stop African migrants

Israel’s construction of 200-mile wall along the Egyptian border is misguided.

The wall works against terrorists—even though they have learned to scale it—for one reason: after detectors alert us to the presence of infiltrators, we pursue and detain them. But with Africans, that’s exactly what they want, to be caught. Afterwards, they pass through detention centers, are issued papers, and are free to go and work illegally.

So the Africans can openly scale the fifteen-foot wall, jump over it into Israeli territory, and surrender to the border patrol coming to intercept them. Or they can damage the wall and cross into Israel.

Jews were afraid to use firearms

A typical incident took place near Itamar: Palestinians threw stones at Jews and attacked them with clubs. One of the Jews subsequently taken to the hospital is a member of the Fogel family, five of whom were murdered last year by Arabs.

The Jews were armed, but afraid to use their weapons because the danger to their lives was not sufficiently grave. They preferred the risk of serious injury to the certainty of being jailed for shooting poor Arabs who were merely stoning them.

One brave Jew walked in Nazareth

MK Ben-Ari ignored the police prohibition of the demonstration and walked the streets of Nazeret with an Israeli flag. That sight predictably angered local Arabs, Israel’s loyal citizens, and Ben-Ari resorted to police protection. Friendly Arabs pelted him with stones and waved PLO flags.

Mount of Olives – no security improvement in three years

Almost three years ago, we wrote about the government’s plans to ward off Arab vandals from the oldest Jewish cemetery at the Mount of Olives. Israeli police, so eager to investigate trivial incidents such as the alleged ‘price tag’ graffiti on Arab objects, completely ignore massive vandalism at the 3,000-year-old Jewish cemetery.

Now the situation has been discussed in the Knesset, also to no effect.

Fortified road, now in the South

Free and fearless in our land, we Jews have built yet another set of fortifications, this time on Route 12 in the Negev. The road was closed for half a year following an Egyptian terrorist attack.

Instead of eradicating terrorists in the Sinai, the government hides its head behind a new wall.

Car terrorism goes on

A car, obviously driven by an Arab, ran over a 19-year-old female soldier near Yokneam township. Soon after, two more cars ran over her body.

Police described the incident as a hit-and-run rather than terrorism.

Arab murders a disabled Jew
