So the Arab residents of Gaza who were injured in the 2005 rocket attack on Gush Katif would be treated as if they had suffered work-related injuries.

It speaks of Jewish madness that the comptroller wants the government to increase its services to residents of mostly illegal villages constructed on huge swathes of state land. A sensible solution would be to evict the squatters, but Jews are too nice for that.

The protests centered around the highly unequal application of law on Jews and Arabs: while right-wing Jews are routinely investigated on spurious charges of incitement, no similar charges are brought against Israeli Arabs, including their politicians and preachers. Indeed, no charges were ever filed against left-wing Jews for incitement against settlers, which sometimes include open calls to kill them.

Such preferences are in fact common in Israel, where hiring people with IDF experience has become a politically acceptable euphemism for refusing employment to our Arab enemies. By introducing the bill, Lieberman unwisely laid his party open to charges of racism.

According to the Attorney General, the bill would negatively affect Israeli Arabs. Presumably, fooling around for three years while Jews serve in the IDF affects the Arabs rather positively. And the AG is okay with Arabs refusing even the non-military National Service, which would qualify them for similar benefits.

During the Cast Lead war, IDF spent over $4 million for each Arab killed.

No conservative Jewish protester against the Gush Katif evictions received any meaningful compensation for police brutalities.

When haredim refuse autopsies for religious reasons, police routinely take the bodies by force, but Arabs are given much nicer treatment.

On the occasion of this death, hundreds of Arabs rioted in East Jerusalem, Jaffa, and elsewhere. These allegedly loyal citizens of Israel threw stones at police and religious Jews.

Now, that’s a great idea. If we take a typical Arab demonstration where 20,000 of them scream, ‘Slaughter the Jews,’ the Jewish state can pocket $20 million from each riot. And since the riots occur pretty often, we’re talking billions of dollars in fines.

If, that is, the courts would hold Arabs to the same standard as Jews.
