The Israeli spy has invited leaders of major US Jewish organizations to visit him in his prison cell to discuss their meeting with Joe Biden, which touched on the subject of his release. Now they will have to take sides publicly and declare whether they stand with the White House or a Jewish spy.

After two decades, it may now be time for the Israeli government to tell us the truth about Pollard. The American obstinacy about his release makes no sense in light of known facts. Moreover, the Israeli government ought to explain why it wanted Pollard in jail. Recall that Israeli embassy gave him an Arab attorney who later represented the PLO in America, and that fellow deliberately missed the appeal deadline at a time when the higher court was very likely to overturn the outrageous sentence.

The sad truth, however, is that we will have a non-Jewish majority regardless of whether the oath becomes reality. Indeed, proper Jews are already a minority among the younger generation.

When Neeman defined a Jew by his allegiance to the God of Israel and the State of Israel, the director of the Chicago Board of Rabbis—a Reform ‘rabbi,’ to be sure—challenged him vehemently.

American assimilators protest aliyah campaign

The Absorption Ministry is running an excellent aliyah PR in the US. They have put up billboards in LA, San Francisco, and New York asking Jews to return home before “Hanukkah becomes Christmas.” The campaign honestly put difficult questions before American Jews, stressing that as Jews they have different values from their neighbors.

The campaign caused near-hysteria among the American Jewish establishment, which has assimilated to the point of being averse to someone reminding them that no, they are not Christians. The ministry pulled the campaign, just as it has always done with controversial ads.

One problem with the campaign is that Hanukkah is hardly distinguishable from Christmas in many parts of Israel, too. Haifa municipality has celebrated Hanukkah and Christmas together for years.

Fake organization for fake Jews

A meeting of the Jewish Agency erupted in scandal when one donor questioned why a government organization with a $300 million budget cannot afford to bring 900 would-be immigrants from Russia and Ukraine.

Since the stream of Russian Jews dried out in the 1990s, the Jewish Agency has become a worthless wreck that invents causes to justify its wasteful existence. Thus, they keep bringing in black Christians whose forefathers were fundamentalist Christians who had been mistaken for Jews. And so the government and major donors waste hundreds of millions on the Sohnut.

But there is another dimension to the scandal: the would-be immigrants are not Jewish by any reasonable standard. For the past decade, the Agency has brought in almost exclusively Jews-by-grandfather, often with forged papers.

Jewish snobs are happy with Obama

The 10,000-strong AIPAC conference lauded Obama heartily. The ostensibly right-wing pro-Israel lobby has forgiven the US president for his support for the ayatollahs, for ousting Mubarak, and for pushing Israel toward capitulation.

For his part, Obama has changed his position again. Now he does not call for a Palestinian state in 1967 borders, but for a state whose borders have been adjusted based on demographic changes. The settlement blocs, needless to say, are the smallest problem here: whether 8- or 30-mile-wide, Israel is indefensible, facing nuclearized Iran and Saudi Arabia, and surrounded by countries dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Where does Jewish money go?

American Jewish federations raised $925 million last year. Something must be fishy about their accounting: most of that money is known to have come from working Jewish families, and there are simply not enough families to raise such an amount. Besides, the total has remained almost unchanged since it peaked at $1.04 billion in 2008, though donations would dwindle in crisis. Another $1.5 billion came from endowments.

Jewish parents in the US pay for their children to be educated in Hebrew schools. Elderly Jews receive Medicare benefits. It would not be easy, therefore, for American Jews to spend $2.4 billion for Jewish causes in America. And indeed, Jewish federations have found a solution: they spend the money on non-Jews in over 70 countries.

According to a survey by the Chronicle on Philanthropy, five of the six biggest charity donors in the United States are Jewish. But those donors give only a negligible part of their money to specifically Jewish causes.

As Rabbi Kahane remarked, “Worse than Jews for Jesus. Worse than Jews for Gurus. Worse than Jews for Marx. Jews for Nothing.”

Rabbis use Holocaust to support Soros

Hundreds of American rabbis have signed a letter published in the Wall Street Journal. The letter demands the resignation of Fox News anchor Glenn Beck, who accused George Soros of collaborating with Nazis and using his money to promote a leftist agenda. Both charges are true.

Beck is a rare reporter in that he is critical of Muslims, and his rhetoric against Soros also serves Israeli interests well.

The rabbis should be ashamed to have spent some $120,000 of charity money for that ad. They accused Beck of exploiting Holocaust symbolism in his charges against Soros, but acted similarly by publishing their letter on Holocaust Memorial Day.
