In 1976, the loss of his brother Yoni during the Entebbe raid derailed Binyamin’s plans to become an architect. Instead he settled for an MA in business administration and took a post at the Boston Consulting Group. His boss was Ira Magaziner, the man who later became the intellectual force behind the Clinton administration’s failed health-care reform package.

Already earning $100,000, and with a splendid career ahead of him, Netanyahu decided to give it all up and return to Israel to act as the marketing manager of a furniture concern, RIM Furniture, for a fraction of his Boston salary.
In 1979, Netanyahu organized an anti-terrorism conference in Jerusalem, dedicating it to his fallen brother. Somehow the unknown twenty-seven-year-old managed to attract the likes of CIA Director George Bush, Council On Foreign Relations (CFR) executive George Shultz, and Richard Perle (President’s Reagan’s chief arms negotiator) to the meeting, thrusting him briefly onto the world stage. But when the conference ended, it was back to
work at the furniture factory.

That all changed in 1982, when Israel’s Washington ambassador, Moshe Arens, appointed Netanyahu to be his deputy. This unprecedented career rise was the subject of much speculation. Arens was forced to explain, “People got a good laugh when they heard I phoned a furniture factory to find a deputy. What sold me on Bibi was his organization of the anti-terror conference, and the strong impression he made on the American leaders who participated.”

In the 2001 CFR annual report, Moshe Arens was listed as a member of the CFR’s Foreign Advisory Committee, followed in alphabetical order by the PLO’s Hanan Ashrawi. Arens admitted that Bush, Shultz, and Perle had pressed him to advance Netanyahu’s career and he fell in line.

In 1984, after two visibly successful years as Arens’ deputy, Bibi was named Israel’s ambassador to the UN. In another of those ironies that seem to follow him, he was appointed to the post by Shimon Peres over the objections of Yitzhak Shamir. It was the leader of the Labour Party who promoted Bibi’s early career.

And what a wise investment that turned out to be. Since Netanyahu has become Prime Minister, no matter how badly Labour has been mauled in the polls, the leader of the Likud—or its offspring Kadima—has always given the leader of Labour a vital cabinet Post. Ehud Barak is now Defence Minister even though Labour only won 8% of the vote. Sharon made Shimon Peres his Foreign Minister, while Ehud Olmert appointed the incompetent Amir Peretz as his
Defence Minister.

In 1985, Shultz chaired another anti-terror convention in Washington, which was supposedly organized by Netanyahu. Further,whenever George Bush visited New York—which was often—he would call on UN Ambassador Netanyahu.

Having groomed and financed Netanyahu into office, the CFR made certain his tenure as head of the opposition did not endanger the Oslo process. Though Netanyahu had the goods on enough scandals to fell Labor (e.g., Peres’ organization of the Rabin assassination), he was a remarkably restrained opposition leader. In September 1995, PM Rabin told what he thought was a funny story on Israel Television One. It seems his CFR handler, Henry Kissinger, phoned him to relate that Netanyahu had called to ask him to declare that American troops not be stationed on the Golan Heights as part of a peace deal with Syria. Whom Kissinger was supposed to relay this request to was not revealed. Kissinger, according to Rabin, laughed at Bibi and told him to quit bothering him. The next day Netanyahu confirmed this phone call but denied Rabin’s mocking version of it.

The moral of the story is that the leaders of both the government and the opposition got their orders from the same CFR officer. When most Israelis vote, they actually believe it is a personal lesson in democracy. They don’t even consider that the timing of the election and the primary candidates for office, Left and Right, are run out of the New York office of the CFR.

Early in 2001, Binyamin Netanyahu was in the midst of a lucrative speaking tour when he shared a private meeting with George Shultz and Henry Kissinger. In Netanyahu’s own words, Shultz and Kissinger told him it was time for elections in Israel. In fact, it wasn’t. Elections weren’t scheduled for another two years. Nonetheless, Netanyahu interrupted his tour, caught the first plane back to Israel, had a few words with Prime Minister Ehud Barak, and caught the next plane back to New York. Two days later Barak resigned as Prime Minister and called for new elections in which he would remain a candidate. It made no sense to Israelis, who were unaware that they had no power over their electoral system; that was controlled from New York.

Elections are timed so as to changes  to Israeli policy quickly, while the new Prime Minister is immune to public revolt. In 1992, Rabin entered the Oslo process immediately after his election. In 1996, Netanyahu unilaterally pulled out of Hebron within days of forming a government. In 1999, new PM Ehud Barak quickly ordered IDF troops out of Southern Lebanon, leaving our mostly Christian ally, the South Lebanese Army, defenseless against retaliation. In 2001, a Right Winger would have to replace Barak to get Israel out of Gaza and Northern Samaria. Ariel Sharon was the man for the job.

But wait, you may say! Wasn’t Sharon ruined when he ordered Falangist troops into their famed massacre at Sabra and Shatilla in 1982? Not at all. Once you have the CFR on your side, nothing will ever ruin your political career. Even Rabin’s murderer Shimon Peres survived all indignities to become Netanyahu’s President. But all is fair since, after all, Netanyahu got his job by blackmailing Peres over the Rabin murder in 1996. (Scroll to the end for proof).

Will Israelis ever wake up and understand that they don’t live in a democracy? Will they finally realize that the current PM Binyamin Netanyahu is not working in their interests, but that electing someone else will change nothing? Or that no common citizen can ever become Prime Minister. For that honor, you are chosen, financed, and aided from the Manhattan headquarters of the CFR, or you go on selling fish in the market.

The day after those soldiers were captured, Israel should have gone in and captured 100 Arabs, put them in cells 6 by 6 feet, and said, ‘”They stay there until our guys are free.”

The Russians know how to deal with them. A couple of years ago the terrorists (in Lebanon) made the mistake of kidnapping a Russian. The Russians got Arabs to find the brother of the guy who kidnapped him and they sent him his body in pieces. And the Russian was freed the next day.

I mean that nice people here think, That is terrible. But that’s the world in which we live. That’s what they know. Someday it will be a nice place in the world, but until then we live in this present world and there are three Jews who are suffering now for years and years. And you cannot be nice, not when you’re not the person who is suffering. Don’t be nice at the expense of the other fellow who’s suffering. How easy it is to be nice if you don’t feel the pain. You have to feel the pain of every other Jew and do whatever is necessary to help the Jew. There’s nothing not allowed to be done to save a Jew.

On the radio today someone said, ‘Would you do this?’ Of course, I would. Anything to save the Jew, that’s it. I want to finish with this. My son served in the army during the war in Lebanon, you know I have two sons. They received orders that if a PLO position was in a village they were not allowed to give fire cover to the infantry because they might kill civilians. Do you know how many Jewish soldiers died because of that criminal order?

All the Arabs of Lebanon are not worth the life of one Jewish soldier. People think that this is racist, I couldn’t care less.

This morning at 7:00 a.m., Israeli Prison Authorities walked Ephraim Khantsis through passport control on the Third Floor of Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion International Airport in Lod, onto a New York bound jet with a one-hour stop-over in Kiev. Khantsis had been in an isolation cell at Beersheva’s Eshel prison for the past two weeks. He was not permitted visits, phone rights, or access to have any of his clothing or basic possessions, including prayer books and tefillin. These basic religious and human rights afforded to any prisoner – Jew or Arab – were denied Ephraim.

Ironically, Khantsis was never charged with commission of a crime. At the time of his incarceration he was Israel’s sole Jewish Administrative Detainee. This, after receiving a three month order of detention, several weeks ago.

British Laws, Israeli Dungeons

Administrative Detention is an antiquated, emergency military power inherited by Israel from the Colonial British Mandate that governed pre-state Israel. In 1984, Israel finally canceled the “Majla” Islamic Turkish Ottoman Law that had, until then, been part of Israel’s law codes. However, the country has yet to rescind the Emergency Mandate Powers used by the British against Jewish pioneers after the fall of the Ottoman Turks.

The British conquered Palestine in WWI from the Turks with the help of Jabotinsky’s Jewish Legion, subsequently their commitment to the Balfour Declaration, declaring a Jewish state on both sides of the Jordan, then, did everything possible to dampen and destroy Jewish national aspirations in the years that followed.

Administrative orders were one of the key tools used by the British in their efforts against Jews who objected to British treachery. Indeed, the cruel and draconian orders stifled many efforts to create a strong Jewish presence in Eretz Yisrael. Today, in an ironic twist of history, that same tool is used by the Israeli government against its own citizens with similar strong nationalist sentiments

Ephraim Khantsis Suicide Bomber?

Administrative detention has been used as a last resort, primarily against Arab terrorists who are considered “ticking time-bombs”. It’s also employed when the state lacks admissible evidence against a dangerous suspect. In short, it’s a last ditch effort to prevent a suspect from carrying out the final stages of a murderous plot.

All agree that Khantsis had no co-conspirators and no plot. All of the “secret information” submitted to the courts focused on certain “extreme philosophies” preached by the young Zionist firebrand. He possessed an ideology that his yeshiva and his interrogators had zero tolerance for.

Khantsis is a 22 year-old computer programmer who immigrated to the U.S. from Odessa when he was eight, graduated Stonybrook University last year, and came “home” to Israel to fulfill his life-long dream of aliya. Upon arrival in Israel, he enrolled in Machon Meir, a well known Zionist yeshiva in Jerusalem. Machon Meir seemed like the perfect choice for a young Jew, new to Israel and new to Torah observance, seeking to study Judaism, and learn a beginner’s Hebrew in a pro-Israeli environment. It is rare to find a yeshiva for beginners with a pro-state-of-Israel orientation. There are no shortage of “Haredi” – “ultra Orthodox” institutions for beginners, that frown upon students enlisting in the IDF and mock the modern State of Israel for its secular character.

Betrayed by his Rabbis

Ephraim, however, was an odd fit at Machon Meir. For on the one hand he maintained ultra-Zionist ideals, eager to study Hebrew and enlist in the IDF, but on the other, he passionately rejected the Yeshiva’s pro-government philosophy. He viewed the current policies of Israel as treasonous and as a blatant betrayal of Torah. Surrendering Jewish land, destroying Jewish homes and valuing secular laws over Torah were not things he could honestly show support for.

Ephraim made the “mistake” of speaking openly about his views at Machon Meir. It was not long before these same views were themselves labeled ‘treasonous’ and the GSS was informed. Incidentally, Machon Meir is a favored grooming ground for Israeli agents because so many Jews with so many different foreign passports, who passionately worship the state of Israel, pass through their ranks. Many are even in the process of conversion, lacking the common “Jewish traits’ that the Dubai police chief has so proudly thought to have discovered. Students are regularly invited to meetings to become potential agents for the state. Many, too, are asked to spy on their fellow students, to be sure that “right wing extremist” co-students are not planning crimes against Arabs or other state interests.

Ephraim’s Rabbis at Machon Meir gave him two days to change his views. The Shin Bet operatives who came to his yeshiva several times in futile efforts to silence him were also at a loss how to deal with a young activist who spoke openly to them of his anti-government thoughts. The GSS (Shin Bet) first issued a more lenient administrative order, prohibiting him from entering into Judea and Samaria for three months. But later, after Ephraim defiantly violated those restrictions, arrested him in Samaria with a more stringent Administrative Detention order signed by Defense Minister, Ehud Barak on Feb 16.

The Judge sees through the GSS

The new order translated into three months in jail, without trial, and without cause or reason given. District Court Judge President Moussa Arad, was asked by the State Prosecutor to ratify the three month detention order.

Judge Arad was hesitant and perplexed. She had never seen a case like this, with a Jew who refused to recognize the law of the land and her authority; who asked not to have legal counsel; who refused to cooperate with the proceedings, but who appeared to have no concrete criminal or security plot that he intended to carry out. She had seen Arab terrorist rings and suspects who had been seen with bombs or who had been recorded speaking in detail about specific terror activities they intended to initiate. In these cases she had no problem signing off on the administrative order. But here there were no bombs, there was no organization of terrorist co-conspirators, and she certainly had no specific plot to weigh in her decision.

Arad, understanding the inherent weakness and limitations of the Shin Bet case, and knowing that Ephraim posed no real threat to anyone, brokered a deal to ship Ephraim off to the United States for the duration of his detention. From there he would be free to return in May. She issued a ruling on February 22 effectively obligating the Israeli prison authorities to permit Ephraim to freely call his relatives in the U.S. and arrange the purchase of a ticket for him to immediately fly home to New York. The authorities permitted one, sixty-second call to arrange the flight, three days later. He was permitted to fly March 2. No explanation has been given for this blatant violation of Arad’s ruling, which should have enabled Ephraim to call and leave jail nine days earlier.

Ephraim Sees no Reason to Cooperate

Ephraim’s attorney jumped at the opportunity to substitute three months jail for three months of “freedom” abroad. Ephraim was less enthusiastic. The Judge’s compromise proposal was an easy way out for the state, the defense attorney and for the judge herself. No need to fight the order. No need to fight for alternative house-arrest in Israel, with an electronic bracelet or other proposals that would have gained Ephraim his freedom in his new home, Israel.

Ephraim’s attorney, rather than fighting the order, expended all his skills of persuasion convincing the young and defiant detainee to accept the deal. To the surprise of all, Ephraim who moments earlier refused to accept the rights of the government to issue the order and who refused to partake on any level with the proceedings, agreed to his voluntary temporary deportation.

A Precedent Setting Case?

The Ephraim Khantsis case brings into question not only the use of the anti-Jewish, un-democratic, military emergency powers inherited from the British Mandate. Indeed, without due process and basic legal rights, how does the modern State of Israel distinguish itself from tyrranical totalitarian states? But more than this, it calls into question the degree of deprivation a loyal citizen of the state can be subject to when he has committed no crime, plans to commit no crime, and merely holds views that are at odds with the reigning authorities.

For it is bad enough to hold a person in jail without offering him the right to review the evidence against him and without offering him the right of a trial and due process. But to hold him in conditions worse than those of Arab terrorists is mind boggling. To deny a political-religious prisoner phone rights, visitation rights, prayer books and tefillin, and to prevent him from carrying out a court order that allows him to organize his release is an outright and blatant violation of his most elementary human rights.

The Israeli authorities have already alerted their American counterparts of Khantsis’s return, and the FBI has visited his relatives stateside. How sad that Israel, now the target of an unprecedented international witch-hunt in the aftermath of the Dubai debacle, with hypocritical, Jew-hating European nations now sharing passport, flight and phone communication information to hunt down the Jewish assassins, would now appeal to the Americans to harass an Israeli citizen for no apparent reason.

It’s soon Rabin murder commemoration week, so let us draw a picture of his murderer Shimon Peres. As the day arrives, Peres’ guilt brings out his annual display of irrationally crude behavior. Like shooting fish in a barrel, I mostly used one news service to gather this year’s continuing saga of nutty self-confession. It was that easy.
So why credit me as the writer who first proved that coroner Dr. Yehuda Hiss changed Rabin’s autopsy to save Peres?

(IsraelNN.com) The former #2 in the National Institute for Forensic Medicine (Abu Kabir) says he can’t understand why the director, found to have engaged in illegal harvesting of organs, is still the highest-paid person in the public sector. Last week, the Finance Ministry released a list of the highest-paid public sector employees, revealing that the highest-paid of all was none other than Prof. Yehuda Hiss, who essentially heads the National Institute for Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir.
Despite the above, it was revealed last week that Hiss earns nearly 67,000 shekels ($18,150) a month, roughly nine times the national average.
Dr. Chen Kugel, who served for several years as the Deputy Director of Abu Kabir and was instrumental in exposing serious irregularities there, such as the harvesting of organs without families’ permission and testimony given by doctors about autopsies at which they were not present, spoke with Shimon Cohen of Arutz-7’s Hebrew news magazine.
Cohen made another suggestion: “There have been rumors for years that Hiss simply knows too much; people have been sent to jail on his say-so, and for instance he knows about the Rabin murder. Perhaps there is a fear that if he is fired, he might open his mouth and ruin some lives.”
Kugel guardedly answered, “I don’t know if this is correct. I wasn’t present at the Rabin autopsy, so I don’t know about this. But if it is true, then the situation must stop now; why let it continue?”

The Shamgar Commission determined that Rabin was shot twice in the back. Central to my thesis is my contention that Rabin was shot a third time, from the front. And central to my claim that Shimon Peres organized the murder was his knowledge of that third shot. In my lectures, I show Peres on film stating that, “Three bullets pierced Rabin’s body and the songsheet.” The songsheet was in his front jacket pocket, thus Peres admits that Rabin was shot from the front, an act Amir could not have committed.
The problem is, Peres became prime minister and accepted the Shamgar Commission’s finding that Rabin was shot twice in the back…WHEN HE KNEW THE TRUTH. And that makes Peres, head of the coverup.
I also note that 90 minutes after Rabin was declared dead, Peres conducted a cabinet meeting during which he appointed Rabin’s personal bodyguard, Yoram Rubin, his own personal bodyguard. Now if there was one person in the world Peres should not have appointed to guard him, it was Rubin, based on his wonderful protection of Rabin that evening.
But since Rubin was the actual shooter of Rabin, Peres chose to reward him.
At that same cabinet meeting, Peres described how Rabin was murdered. Do not forget that Peres saw Rabin’s body barely two hours before. Now remember the photos from the meeting and recall where Peres is pointing to. That, he explained to the world, was where the fatal bullet penetrated Rabin’s body…FROM THE FRONT.
Rubin’s boss was then-Shabak head Carmi Gillon. To protect his bungled murder conspiracy, Peres sent his partners abroad til the heat died down. Gillon was named the Danish Ambassador, before returning to Israel as head of the Peres Peace Center. Rubin was sent to head the security unit at the Washington Embassy before returning as Ariel Sharon’s personal bodyguard. On December 18, ‘05, Sharon had tea with Peres in a private Knesset meeting. Within half an hour Rubin escorted him to Hadassah Hospital with a stroke. The hit squad was still at work eliminating Israeli prime ministers.
Not that prime ministers are the only victims of Peres. If we could only ask Mota Gur, Eliahu Ben Elissar, Raful Eitan, Judge Azar, Wayne Owens and Rehavam Zeevi:

President shamed the memory of Gandhi when he turned him into a member
of ‘Peace Now’ and claimed that Gandhi supported a Palestinian state
in his youth.”

Ben-Ari continued, “Peres’s obsession brought about the Oslo disaster
and its murderous results, and he is doing everything, including
twisting history around, to continue making his false claims.”

Leave it to Peres to change the MO of his victim Zeevi. Permit me the liberty of reminding you why Zeevi died:

Arafat played his cards a bit too confidently about the murder of the Tourism Minister Rehavam Zeevi, who was knocked off five days after he gave Prime Minster Sharon an ultimatum: fire Peres or I leave and take two parties with me. The French-controlled PFLP (Front For The Liberation Of Palestine) were called into action and Zeevi was eliminated six hours before he quit the government, taking nine dissenting Knesset members with him. Needless to say, the leaders of the two dissenting parties, Benny Elon and Yves Lieberman got the message and returned to the government.
Just before Christmas, Arafat went on Israeli Television and said the Palestinians were not behind the Zeevi murder, the Israelis were. It did not take long before Israeli shells landed near his office, followed by tanks to make sure he was trapped there. Even Arafat’s cynical plea to visit Bethlehem for Christmas didn’t move Sharon to lift the barriers. And the show goes on; while Sharon demands that Arafat hand over Zeevi’s murderers, he claims his people weren’t behind the murder. Arafat misjudged the wrath that follows such a huge betrayal of Peres.
Three days before he died, Rehavam Zeevi attacked Shimon Peres viciously in the government’s cabinet meeting. He told PM Sharon that if Peres wasn’t sacked, he would resign from the government and take seven Knesset members from Moledet and Yisrael Beiteinu with him. Sharon refused to fire Peres, so Zeevi wrote his last essay, for the Arutz Sheva website. It read in part:

“But what is understood in Washington is apparently not understood
here. Prime Minister Sharon, who himself fought for many years against
Arab terrorism, is not strong or consistent enough in this fight during his
tenure as Prime Minister. In order to keep Shimon Peres in the national
unity government, he gives in to Peres’ dictates and allows him to continue
talking with the top brass of the evil Palestinian Authority, which is a
terrorist headquarters in every sense.
Peres conducts diplomatic negotiations, while the Palestinians continue to
shoot at our communities and on Jews – and he is doing all this just in
order to revive the Oslo process, which brought catastrophe upon us and
could, in the end, lead to the collapse of the State of the Jews.
Peres is doing this possibly because he believes in it – or possibly
because he wants to save his place and reputation in history.”

Zeevi went on the warpath against Peres, not a wise strategy. Others have tried and others have died.

It was just seven years ago that 250 of us protested Peres’ tax-paid 80th birthday party bash. We made it a flop. This year the murderer holds another wingding and not a soul is there to protest it. But look who his guests are. Look who is protecting the killer! All but the last are or were members of the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR). Google them if you don’t believe it. At 9:20 PM, July 16,1999, John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. radioed the tower at an airport near Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts announcing that he was preparing to land. Seconds after, his plane exploded in mid-air, and this was witnessed by several witnesses including a local newspaper reporter and an attorney. On board were his wife Caroline Bessette and her sister Lauren. Lauren’s luggage was recovered miles from the crash site, an event that can only be caused by a mid-air explosion.
For reasons that would later become clear, search for the missing plane was delayed for 5 hours, when Pres. William “Bill” Clinton sent out the equivalent of the Sixth Fleet to find the wreckage, hide it and the bodies from the snoopy media, and though JFK Jr. was never in the Navy, and though the families did not consent, cremate the corpses, or evidence, and throw the ashes into the water in a quickly planned, elaborate, Navy funeral at sea.
Behind the scenes, a hokey cover story was concocted. The weather, which was perfect, became stormy. JFK Jr. had a gimpy leg. Reports by the FAA and FBI, both concluding foul play was involved, were buried, the arrival of Israeli PM Ehud Barak to Clinton’s court the day before was given an alternative explanation…In fact JFK Jr.’s profound affect on Israel was never mentioned.
But it was huge. In the March, 1997 issue of his magazine, George, JFK Jr. became the only publisher of a major American publication to expose the conspiracy to murder Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. His 13 page expose shook the Israeli establishment to it’s foundations:

I would expect that he would take a higher moral stand in his paper.”
The article claimed that Amir was goaded to shoot Rabin by an undercover agent for the Shin Bet, Israel’s security agency. (It) thought it would be done with a doctored gun. The security force let the attack happen so they could take credit for saving the prime minister.

And JFK Jr. was about to publish the final truth about Rabin’s murder. This, Israel could not allow. It’s operatives were called into action.This interview with JFK Jr.’s driver appeared in Maariv shortly after the Piper crash.

HE COULD BARELY WALK, HOW DID HE FLY?
Yoel Katzavman drove John Jr. 48 hours before the plane broke up. “He was a quiet and humble client.”
“How could he have flown that plane with a broken leg? It was really suicidal?,” said Yoel Katzavman (38), a limousine driver born in Hakiriot, who drove the Kennedy couple many times. Katzavman arrived in the US three years before and was employed by the Empire limousine service. He was often called to drive John Jr. and Carolyn Kennedy from their New York apartment. He recalls his last ride with John Jr., less than 48 hours before the final takeoff.

It was this self-serving interview that raised my suspicions and I went looking. Here is what I wrote in July, 2009:

So now what do we do about the information coming out on the explosion of JFK Jr.’s plane? The day it happened I wrote that JFK Jr. was doing more than any other American media figure to get to the bottom of the Rabin assassination truth. I reminded readers that his magazine George ran a 13 page expose of the Shabak’s involvement in the assassination. I suggested that this was a brave but risky stand. Then came the tidal wave of data. The FBI Preliminary Report confirming the bomb on the plane and noting the type of explosive was used by certain foreign intelligence services. This was followed by Catherine Crier of Fox TV’s The Crier Report, announcing that JFK Jr. was about to meet high ranking Mossad officers to get the full story on the Rabin assassination. Then the German newspaper, Franfurter Allgemaine Zeitung, reported that Kennedy had met with the deputy chief of the Mossad, Amiram Levine to get the full story on the Rabin assassination two days before his plane went down. Then Maariv ran an interview with JFK’s chauffeur, who happens to be Israeli. Then people started noting that Ehud Barak was in Washington at the time of Kennedy’s finale in life.

And I was not alone in my investigation:

JFK JR. ASSASSINATION:
Evidence continues to mount that JFK jr. and passengers were
killed by an altitude triggered bomb planted in the tail section of the
plane.
Here is the evidence: Kennedy*s sister in law’s ( Lauren
Bessette ) suitcase was found miles out in the ocean, away from the crash
site. Lawyer Victor Pribanic was on the shore fishing and heard the
explosion from the same location and time frame where the plane went
down. The wreckage of the plane was recovered under *national security*
conditions and no reporters were allowed to see or photograph it. The
wreckage was loaded on to sealed containers and taken away. The FAA report
indicated the recovered engine was fully functional. The presumed bad
weather that caused Kennedy to spiral into the water was some 8 miles
away from the crash site at that time, so the report of bad weather was
part of the cover-up.

Soon after, a correspondent wrote me:

At the time his plane went down, I was living in Massachusetts.
Kerryville. The state has gone under.
On the particular day, I heard the news.
A reporter for The Vineyard Gazette who was on the island, was quoted as having seen the plane come down to land, and to have seen a flash on the plane. Next thing the plane went out of control and crashed into the sea below.
He was quoted on the internet saying this.
Having been a reporter, and having seen many other events go down [I get put in this situations, to witness, etc.] I decided to call the reporter in question.
Somehow I quickly reached him.
He repeated the story.
Next, the article disappeared from the internet, and no more report was made on the news which included any of the information from the eye-witness reporter.
Next, I noticed this disappearance of the article, and called the reporter back.
All of a sudden he no longer existed.
I couldn’t find him no matter what I did, despite my having spoken to him hours before.
Gone.

There were reports that JFK Jr. was planning to run for the New York senate seat that Hillary Clinton coveted. Hence the motive. Indeed, that may have been a factor. Pres. Clinton called in the Navy to hide the crime, his so-called Shalom Haver friendship with Rabin was clearly a sham, and his wife’s political ambitions could have been promoted by murdering JFK Jr.
But, looking at the priorities, Shimon Peres and the “peace” process had to be protected first. The brave and wonderful publisher JFK Jr. was set to explode all the myths surrounding the murder of Rabin. Unless he exploded first.

All of Israel, government and media, is furious at Sweden for allowed the publication of a newspaper “investigation” claiming the IDF harvests Palestinian body organs for sale on the black market. The article was a response to three New Jersey rabbis being busted for illegal kidney sales organized by an Israeli, Ilan Peri. But to take one scandal and apply it to their whole army was way too much for the Israelis:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to press Sweden for an
official condemnation of an article in the Swedish daily Aftonbladet that
alleged Israeli soldiers “harvested” the organs of Palestinians.

The problem with the article is that Israel does not harvest Palestinian organs for under the table profits; it steals the organs of deceased ISRAELI soldiers and sells them worldwide. The primary thief is none other than state coroner Dr. Yehuda Hiss, who rewrote the autopsy of slain Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and thus is impervious to police or legal retribution.

Dr. Yehuda Hiss – Last week, his pathological institute was raided and body parts, some over five years old, were found, including those of four soldiers killed in action. But Hiss was not arrested. He knows too much about Rabin for that. But one soldier’s father, Dr. Haim Buzaglo, is suing to have Hiss imprisoned and the case is coming up soon.

Dr. Hiss emptied the soldiers’ corpses of useable organs and replaced them with rags and, yes, broomsticks. Then he returned them to their families. One soldier’s father was a doctor and Dr. Buzaglo conducted his own autopsy. Hiss was finished. Or would have been if his attorney, Nitzana Leitner, wasn’t wearing him down and losing the case for the authorities.
Whenever a case has to be lost, in she comes. Here she is again, pretending to defend the victim of another Hiss body parts snatching:

Nitzana (Darshan) Leitner represents another victim of Dr. Hiss, the family of Alisdair Sinclair.
On April 14, 1998, 47 year old Alisdair Sinclair, was stopped by customs officials at Ben Gurion Airport on his way out of the country after a six day stay.
At the airport police station, Sinclair was found strangling on his shoelaces. He was rushed to hospital and pronounced dead. From there his body was transferred to the Abu Kabir Institute For Forensic Medicine and straight into the paws of Dr. Yehuda Hiss, who conducted an autopsy which concluded that Sinclair had killed himself.
On May 13, another autopsy was conducted, at the University of Glasgow and guess what? The hyoid bone at the base of the tongue was missing and so was the heart. Both were removed by Dr. Hiss. But why? No problem guessing why the hyoid bone was gone. It would reveal that Sinclair did not hang himself but was strangled by other means.
But the heart..? Leitner can only say, “Our best guess is that Hiss is involved the black market trade in human organs.”

I was depressed yesterday. Very, very sad. For I knew that they had burned my trees. As a child I had saved my money so carefully so that I could buy those trees and know that they were planted. And now they are burned. They must be burned. It is not logical that a million trees would be burned down and none of mine among them. No, they are burned.

Every week I would come to school and bring a nickel. And with that nickel I would buy a special stamp. A Jewish National Fund stamp. And every week I would paste that stamp on the figure of a tree which was part of a JNF poster, and which had twenty “leaves” on it. Each weeek I would paste my stamp on a leaf and at the end of twenty weeks, I had a tree! My Tree! And I did this for years because I was a good boy – a good Jewish boy. And I bought many trees. My trees. My Jewish trees.

And now they burned them. The Arabs and their intifada. Last year, within the sovereign State of Israel, that independant State which makes me so proud because it does not let anyone push it around – the Arabs burned 1.15 million trees. Some of my trees had to be among them. And I was sad.

But then I saw an advertisement by the Jewish National Fund which made me happy again and made me proud to be a Jew know that the Jewish National Fund does not let anyone push it around. The JNF placed an ad that let the Arabs know that we are not the Jews of old. No one burns our trees. Well, not exactly. What the JNF said was that if the Arabs burn our trees, we will show them: We will plant even more trees than they burned. Anything they can burn, we can plant better. If they burned 1.15 million, we will plant that much and ten million more – fully 11.5 million!

I was so happy. I ran to the bank to convert my money into nickels to buy leaves each week and plant new trees. I was so happy that the JNF had this wonderful idea until I me my neighbour. I never liked him. He is always so cynical and a killjoy. When I told him of the brilliant JNF idea to plant ten times the amount of trees that the Arabs burned, this dour wet-towel said:

“And what if they burn those? Will we plant 110 million trees the next time? And why should Jews have to pay again and again for trees that Arabs burn? Why not throw them out of the country? Why do we allow them to stay in the country if we know that they will burn our forests? And why should I be a sucker to help pay the fat salaries of JNF executives who see this as a golden opportunity for a Madison Avenue-type campaign that will keep their salaries going? If the JNF wants money from me, let them demand that the Arabs be thrown out so that I will know that I pay for a Jewish tree once.”

I never liked my neighbour. He is so cynical. He is so logical.

The key question regarding the Holiday of Shavuot today is: Do we simply look at this holiday as the commemoration of an event that occurred 3,000 years ago, or is it perhaps something more?

On Passover, we say “that in each and every generation, one must see himself as if he left Egypt!” That is, though the original event itself took place thousands of years ago, every Jew is obligated to feel that he himself left Egypt. If such is the case regarding Passover, all the more so regarding the Torah itself, for which the sages say that “each and every day, it shall be in your eyes as something new.” The Torah is not some antiquated burden we must carry on our backs, adjusting it “somehow” to today’s reality. No. Torah was given today and for today. Yes, it was actually given today, for this very moment!

One who sincerely wishes to receive Torah today and in its entirety will find himself in the midst of a brutal cultural war. For in this generation more than any other, Jews are trying to prevent us from receiving Torah! What do we mean?

Lost in the muddle of all the campaign hoopla was a very significant event that dwarfs all others in importance. We are speaking of the declaration by the head of the Supreme Court of jesters, Aharon Barak, that any party which calls for changing the existing gentile laws of the state to Jewish law, is liable to be disqualified from running in the elections for the Knesset. (This declaration was made during a court decision concerning “Israel’s Right” party following a proposal by an Arab that the party be banned.)

In other words, any party whose platform includes the changing of Israel from a state of Jews to a Jewish State by making the Jewish halacha the law of the land instead of the present mixed multitude of British, Turkish, French, and Swedish laws—any such party is liable to find itself tabooed! And all this despite the fact that one attempts to make such changes by attaining a majority in the Knesset! Even this is forbidden. Why? Because Jewish law “contradicts the fundamental concepts of democracy and equality” since it discriminates between men and women, Jew and non-Jew, and is therefore “racist.”

There is nothing new under the sun. This process began in 1988, when Rabbi Kahane was banned because his platform included “racist” and “anti-democratic” halachot from the Torah. In 1992, the list was banned again for presenting the Tanach as its platform. In an appeal to the Supreme Court, endless sources from the Talmud and from the rabbis were brought down. The court determined that the sources brought down only strengthened the reason for disqualification!

When this occurred, we declared that the Torah had been banned, and this matter would not end there with Rabbi Kahane and his students. And it did not. In systematic fashion, the Supreme Court has succeeded in delegitimizing any motion that would aspire to change the direction of Israel to that of a Jewish state. Due to Aharon Barak’s revolutionary legislation, the Supreme Court today can even ban religious laws (as long as a kosher majority is attained). There is no doubt that a change in the “undemocratic” marital and divorce laws is only around the corner. Afterwards, the “discriminatory” Law of Return will come under fire.

The “Racist Bill” whose entire reason for being is to negate the Torah is an established fact, and it is what sent Rabbi Ido Elba to prison for two years for a halachic essay that he wrote. Rabbis sitting in jail is something we have already gotten used to—Rabbi Levinger and Rabbi Ginzberg are just two of the more prominent examples.

Who Is Guilty?

The Torah world which kept silent when Rabbi Kahane was banned is the guilty party. Guilty are those who were silent when Rabbi Elba was arrested, and are quiet today when one of the great men of self-sacrifice in this generation, Rabbi Levinger, sits in jail. Let there be no mistake: This is a war waged against the Torah world, and no one else will fight our battles. He who sits by quietly can not complain when his turn comes up. And it will come up.

Aharon Barak knows exactly what his goals are. The religious parties return some fire in the battle, but they have much more important things on their minds. They are preparing themselves for a return to their rightful places near the jackpot—awaiting the funds that will flow to them if they play their cards right. Only the Torah which they supposedly represent will remain discarded and nonfunctional. For day by day the Torah is being cut up. A halacha today, another tomorrow, until eventually they will officially stamp “censored” on the entire Torah!

Shavuot is the holiday that celebrates the giving of all of the Torah, without “forfeiting” on the halachot that sent Rabbi Elba to prison, or banned Rabbi Kahane and his students, or turned Jewish law in this country into something in dispute. Receiving Torah can sometimes be a struggle. “Right” or “left” is not where the battle lies. Even if the Likud wins the elections, they have made it quite clear that what was, will continue to be. Thus, the conclusion is that the real war standing before us is not between “right” and “left,” but rather between the Hellenists and the Jews.

“CHOOSE LIFE”

Question: For quite a while you have been preaching that there is no significant difference between Labor and Likud, as proven by their past records while in power, as well as their campaign messages this time around. But what you fail to tell us is—whom SHOULD one vote for?

Answer: Our major goal is to bring forth the genuine Jewish Truth, the Jewish Idea—to the people. Not just a portion of the message, and not just a “realistic” part of the message, so to speak. Nor do we just convey ideas that the people will always grasp immediately upon hearing them. We are not politicians who have to try to show a pretty face before the public. And so we repeat that the election for Prime Minister is a race between Siamese twins. It is crucial to us that the people understand the painful truth that the Jewish truth was banned from participating in these elections, that we deemed these elections obscene from the very start. And part of the painful truth is that those who engineered the banning of Rabbi Kahane were not the left, but rather that “great hope”—the Likud!

As requested by many, we will bring the words of Rabbi Kahane, (May God Avenge His Blood), exactly as he said them immediately after he was banned in 1988. The Rav said that he is not a “guru,” and he doesn’t give orders to “Chassidim (followers)” how to vote. In any case, he RECOMMENDED putting an empty white slip into the ballot box, and for those who want to vote for someone, he suggested: Anything but Likud!

And let us add something else for those who want to vote for the Knesset. There is a party, a bit obscure, called “Israel’s Right,” which is a religious party with some good Jews in it. The very fact that the “Meretz” party tried to ban it for being “racist” is reason enough to identify with it. Its chances for success are not what interests us.

In any case, we must not despair. The salvation will not sprout from the Knesset ANYWAY, and we must start internalizing this fact. The alternative will come from outside that den of clowns, and it will overwhelm it. The salvation will come from those who do not nonchalantly accept the fact that the truth was banned, and life just goes on.

There is an alternative. And it won’t come from the Knesset, or anywhere near it…

Here is a short overview of the Netanyahu-Obama press conference from someone who has attended other such rigged Presidential events in Israel.
We begin in 1978, at the press conference of Prime Minister Begin and Vice President Walter Mondale outside Begin’s office in Jerusalem. Back then the “sophisticated” rigging hadn’t begun in earnest, and I got to ask Mondale a question. Anwar Sadat had visited Jerusalem the year before and I had followed his tour as a press aide for John Keesler of the Miami Sun. Since then, President Carter made sure that Sadat got everything he demanded and Israel got nothing physical in return.

Now back then I didn’t know the game was fixed or that Carter was a member of the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR) or that Mondale was not only a CFR member but also a founding partner of their new sister organization The Tri-Lateral Commission. If only I had known, I would have framed my question differently. What I saw was an ever-smiling dope who clearly despised Begin, but portrayed himself as a friendly uncle here for a visit with his good pal, the leader of Israel. I saw through that, and asked him, “Are you more sympathetic to the Israeli or Egyptian negotiating position?” or words to that effect.

Wally dropped his smile and answered the inexperienced reporter as if dismissing him outright. “We don’t take sides. We are objective.”
Yeah, sure you were. Within a year Israel had signed away every inch of the Sinai and received a “peace” treaty that would be abrogated by Egypt in half a generation. Today, Egypt doesn’t have to risk its soldiers fighting Israel; it just supplies Hamas with Sinai-smuggled weapons and lets them do the dirty work.

But to understand what Netanyahu had to endure in his conference with Obama, we must go to Yitzhak Rabin’s joint press conference in Jerusalem with President Bill Clinton of the CFR. As fate would playfully have it, I made friends at the event with a Canadian Christian journalist who lived in Samaria, the recently departed Grant Livingstone. After the horrific conference was over he drove me home, and thereafter became a close confident and supporter of my work.

Grant overcame the odds and triumphed before Clinton and the world.
The Oslo “peace” Accord had been signed the year before and Rabin, without exaggeration, was thoroughly hated by a majority of his people. And that would have to be hidden at all costs. This press conference was staged to remove all signs of Israeli opposition to Rabin, Clinton, and Oslo. I sat in the second row, one row back and two away from Secretary of State Warren Christopher (CFR). I looked at his otherworldly face, noticed his ghastly wingtip shoes, and determined he was an alien from a far-off galaxy. Of course, that was my imagination. Only much later did we determine that it was true.

As Rabin and Clinton entered the room, not one Israeli got off his chair, but the entire White House press corps rose to their feet and gave them both an extended and phoney standing ovation, as they must have been instructed to do. These clowns were pre-selected to be the “reporters” for Clinton’s trip.

There were two mikes set up for reporters and I saw two Israel tv hacks stand behind each one. I got the message and stood behind one, second in line behind tv “reporter” Emmanuel Halperin. Grant saw what I did and got up to be third in line. My question would be about the Syrian diplomatic process, and Grant wouldn’t tell me what he was planning to ask. So while Clinton and Rabin read their prepared statements, I edited my question to the basics on, as I recall, a found napkin.

Then the press questions began, and not one was aimed at the open mikes. Instead, Clinton would point at a reporter, name him, and take the “unexpected” questions. “Yes Mary, do you have a question?” he asked. And the tiny old hag asked, “Yes, Mr. President. How would you characterize your trip so far?” And that was the toughest question he fielded all night. I drifted off as the endless session continued. “Helen Thomas here, Mr. President, how did you sleep last night?” I imagined in the blur of trivia.
Rabin was asked one, maybe two questions, but I caught what I thought was obvious to everyone. He was drunk. His feet swaggered, he slurred his words, and he held onto the podium for balance. It was a highly disturbing sight. And though it was noticed after, no one wrote a word of upsetting journalism about Rabin’s drunken performance.

Clinton’s arm must have been worn out from fielding marshmallows, because he finally agreed to accept questions from the mike. At the opposite mike, an Israeli reporter threw Rabin a softball. After his long-winded, inebriated reply, the conference-host announced that the next question would be the last. I turned to Grant and said, “We’ve been set up.”
He pushed Halperin away and asked Clinton, ” As a Christian, aren’t you afraid of the final price you’ll pay for forcing Israel to cede land to murderers?”

Silence, followed by a shocked murmur that spread through the White House “reporters”! Clinton’s face turned crimson. Hesitating, he started to answer just as the host announced that the press conference was over. Grant unrigged the show.

The whole nation was watching the conference, and as we walked to his car people recognized him, congratulated him, and actually applauded him. And not a word was written about the man, nor the question that blew apart the choreographed press fiasco of Oslo, Rabin, and Clinton.

The Obama-Netanyahu conference was even more staged than this. The room was small, the reporters handpicked and left standing for the cameras, for whatever psychological advantage there is in that. Netanyahu and Obama sat in a one-on-one “friendly” discussion. Netanyahu clearly had been previously threatened, and his face was ashen, but Obama was not in a nice mood either.

He wanted to start on giving away the ship to the Palestinians, while Netanyahu desired an Iran-first diplomacy. “But,” he reiterated, “Israel will not surprise America with an attack.” Like it could. To get to Iran, Israeli planes would have to overfly American-held Iraq, or America’s ally Saudi Arabia, at which point it would find itself in a dogfight with the American Air Force. Big concession.

They both stared each other down as they spoke, and they found excuses to agree on anything available. But they fooled no one. It’s endgame-for-Israel time, and Netanyahu tried to delay Obama’s final diplomacy. But so did Begin, and Carter forced him to betray his ideals. But so did Rabin, and Clinton got him to betray Israel’s basic security.

Now it’s Netanyahu’s turn, and give it time; Obama will make him betray his country or Israel is doomed to be friendless in this world.
That was the not-so-rigged message of the choreographed Obama-Netanyahu press conference.

Twelve years ago, I wrote the following famous edict:

Barry Chamish: Vatican plot against ISRAEL 1997

In March 1994, the newspaper Chadashot revealed a most remarkable secret of the Middle East “peace” process. A friend of Shimon Peres, the French intellectual Marek Halter, claimed in an interview that in May 1993 he delivered a letter from Peres to the pope. Within, Peres promised to internationalize Jerusalem, granting the UN political control of the Old City of Jerusalem, and granting the Vatican hegemony over the holy sites within. The UN would give the PLO a capital within its new territory, and East Jerusalem would become a kind of free-trade zone of world diplomacy.

Halter’s claim was backed by the Italian newspaper La Stampa, which added that Arafat was apprised of the agreement and that it was included in the secret clauses of the Declaration Of Principles signed in Washington in September 1993.

In March 1995, the Israeli radio station Arutz Sheva was leaked a cable from the Israeli Embassy in Rome to Peres’ Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem, confirming the handover of Jerusalem to the Vatican. This cable was printed on the front page of the radical left-wing Israeli newspaper, Haaretz two days later. A scandal erupted and numerous rabbis who had invited Peres for Passover services canceled their invitations in protest of his treachery. Peres reacted by claiming that the cable was real, but that someone had whited out the word, “not”; in other words, the cable really said that Israel would “not” hand Jerusalem over to the holy pontiff.

Illustrating the sorry political state of Israel’s rabbis, they accepted this cockamamie excuse and re-invited Peres to their tables. However, in the widely distributed minutes of a meeting with Clinton in 1997, Peres reiterated his diplomacy, ending with the words, “as I had previously promised the Holy See.”

So what did the Swami Barry report? That Foreign Minister Shimon Peres had cooked up a deal offering the Vatican sovereignty over East Jerusalem and its holy sites. That the UN would secure and police the Vatican enclave. And that the PLO would be granted a national capital in the Vatican’s East Jerusalem territory.
So let’s see if my reporting panned out. Oh, you know it did to the smallest detail, but let’s read this week’s news from Jerusalem anyway:

Peres wants to yield sites to Vatican

President Shimon Hand-Over-Israel Peres is willing to hand over sovereignty of key Christian holy sites to the Vatican, a proposition that is reportedly opposed by Interior Minister Eli Yishai, and that has ruffled feathers among other senior government officials, Army Radio reported on Monday.

Beit Hanassi could not be reached for comment on Monday, as it does not issue statements to the press while the president is abroad.

According to the radio report, the president is exerting pressure on the government to give up sovereignty over six sites, including the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth, the Coenaculum on Mount Zion, Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, and the Church of the Multiplication on the Kinneret.

The report quoted Beit Hanassi as saying that talks had been going on long enough, and that the time had come to compromise with the Vatican and come to an agreement.

On Sunday, according to the report, Beit Hanassi requested that the Interior Ministry sign documents ceding sovereignty. Yishai, however, refused.

“Every concession like this limits the Israeli government’s ability to function as a sovereign government in the area,” the interior minister was quoted as saying.
Former Meretz chairman Yossi Beilin, however, was quoted as saying that Israel had not behaved satisfactorily in recent dealings with the Vatican.

“We need to compromise with them,” he said.

(IsraelNN.com) Ten-year-long negotiations between Israel and the Vatican appear to be drawing to a close, with concerns rising that Israel will cede control of the building housing King David’s Tomb in Jerusalem.

The Bilateral Permanent Working Commission—a team of negotiators representing Israel and the Vatican—released an upbeat press release at the end of last week, speaking of “meaningful progress,” “great cordiality,” and a mutual commitment to reaching a final agreement “as soon as possible.”

Tellingly, a plenary meeting has been announced for this Thursday, April 30, at the Foreign Ministry. The meeting will be chaired by the two states’ deputy foreign ministers, Danny Ayalon and Monsignor Pietro Parolin. It is widely believed that the agreement will be signed then.

Church Demands Parts of Mt. Zion

The two states have been negotiating a treaty since March 1999 on matters having to do with Church-owned or Church-claimed property in Israel. Among the most significant issues under negotiation is the Vatican’s demand for the Last Supper room, located on the second floor of the ancient Mt. Zion building that also houses the tombs of Kings David, Solomon, and Hezekiah.

In addition, the Vatican is claiming areas around the Kinneret Sea, as well as in Caesaria and Jerusalem.

Hints and implications in the Vatican and Catholic press have long indicated that the negotiations are expected to end successfully, from the Catholic vantage point, in time for Pope Benedict’s visit to Israel two weeks from now.

Blueprint of an Agreement

A Foreign Ministry official confirmed in 2005 that a “blueprint of a possible agreement with the Vatican has been received.” The proposed contract, as Arutz-7 reported at the time, read as follows:

“The State of Israel hands over to the Holy See the use of the Cenacle [the room of the event known as the Last Supper, above King David's tomb - ed.], of the access path to it, and of the spaces adjacent to it… It is the Holy See’s intention to inform the Bishops—and through them the world’s Priests—that the Catholic Church has been given the use of the Cenacle, inviting them to visit the Holy Place together with their faithful… The Holy See hands over this use of the Cenacle to the Custody of the Holy Land [which acts on behalf of the Holy See]… [which] will keep the Cenacle open from 6 AM to 8 AM for the celebration of the Holy Mass… Official liturgical celebrations of non-Catholic Churches can take place only upon prior written permission by the Custody of the Holy Land.”

The proposed agreement also stipulated that the Holy See will preserve the historic character of the site and keep it open to pilgrims and tourists, and that Israel will provide for the safety of the site. The Foreign Ministry official said at the time that “Israel is not prepared to relinquish its jurisdiction over this area.” The world will find out later this week whether this position is still valid.

U.S. President Barack Obama told Jordan’s King Abdullah two weeks ago to meet with leading Muslim Arab countries and persuade them to accept changes in the Saudi 2002 Initiative, according to the London-based Arabic language Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper.

The report reflects the president’s swift action on the Middle East since he was elected last November.

President Obama’s major proposed alteration to the Saudi peace plan is for Arab countries to grant citizenship to approximately five million Arabs who are descendants of former Israelis while allowing them the right to move to a new Palestinian Authority country.

The Saudi plan calls for them to be allowed to immigrate to Israel, a suggestion that virtually every Israeli leader categorically rejects. President Obama also reportedly told the king that he wants the United Nations flag raised over holy sites in eastern Jerusalem, where the PA would have total sovereignty under the Saudi plan.

The president’s master plan calls for Arab countries to set a timetable for raising the Israeli flag in their capitals, a sign of recognition of the Jewish State. Simultaneously, the PA flag would be raised in Jerusalem neighborhoods, a move that would virtually make the Fatah-led government the de facto government in a significant portion of the Jewish capital.

It is the night of the Seder, the eve of Passover. The Jewish family, having been told by the child who attends the temple “religious school” that Jews celebrate the Passover with a festive meal, or perhaps having heard the temple rabbi or the local American Jewish committee ignoramus declaim the theme of Passover as being the national liberation struggle of all people and the brotherhood of Man (the love of the Gentiles and Jews), is gathered about the table. The room is filled with people, including gentile guests gushing over the fascinating Jewish holiday. The family has equipped itself with Hagadas so as to do the “thing” properly. They have finished the meal, and now the excited youngster (Scott, Brian, Kevin, or some such Jewish name) excitedly says “It’s time to open the door to Elijah. He comes to every Jewish house.” The parents smile; the gentiles smile—how similar to Santa Claus. And of course, they all rise as the child rushes to open the door. Jew and gentile alike chant the words prescribed by the hagada, the Biblical words of the Psalms, that proclaim:

“Pour forth Your wrath upon the nations that do not recognize You and upon the kingdoms that do not invoke Your name. For they have devoured Jacob and destroyed his habitation. Pour forth Your fury upon them and let Your burning wrath overtake them. Pursue them with anger and destroy them from beneath the heavens of the Lord.”

My God! What to think! What do the gentiles in the room think?! What a litany of anger, and above all, vengeance! An open prayer and call for the Almighty to avenge Himself upon the nations, to destroy them for what they did to Israel! Is this Judaism? And did not the “rabbi,” the temple paragon of Jewish wisdom, the fount of Jewish knowledge, admonish us that Jews oppose vengeance, that is not a “Jewish” concept? And that is why we are supposed to feel ashamed sometimes at the conduct of the Israeli army? And above all, what will John and Kathy, the gentile neighbors think about the Jews? About us?

Ah, poor Jews; sad little Jews. Conceived in ignorance and born in Jewish know-nothingness. Raised in Jeffersonian and Kennedyan and Jacksonian (Jesse?) Democracy and all the westernized, gentilized culture that is America, and lied to and deceived, and defrauded by secular Jewish ignoramuses-leaders, and Reform-Conservative-Reconstructionist ones; people whose ignorance is so awesome that only their fraud surpasses it. The fraud that was created by the counterfeiters of Judaism is astonishingly awesome. They lied to the Jew because they could not bear to tell the truth to themselves.

Vengeance, un-Jewish? If so, let us cast out the Bible and Talmud as “un-Jewish.” The Lord is a God of vengeance; O God of vengeance, arise! (Psalms 94). And the rabbis say: “Yes, when vengeance is needed, it is a great thing” (Brachot, 3a). Or let the high praises of God be in their throat and a two-edged sword in their hand—to execute vengeance upon the nations…” (Psalms 58). Passover. A holiday that was created to commemorate the sanctity of vengeance; the punishment and the destruction of Pharaoh and Egypt that mocked and humiliated God by crying: “Who is the Lord? I know not the Lord…:” Vengeance sop that the world shall know the Lord and cry, “Verily, there is a God that judgeth in the earth…” And: “The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth vengeance, he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.” (Psalms 58) And why? For it is only vengeance that proves that there is indeed a God in the world, that there is good and evil and punishment for that evil. When the wicked kill and injustice reigns, surely the wicked cry out: “There is no God, for if their was He would punish me.” And the victim in his agony, agrees. When there is no vengeance and punishment and the wicked reign, God is pushed from his throne; it is the greatest Hillul Hashem—desecration to God’s Name, it is “proof” that there is no God.

And again, “The Lord hath made Himself known through the judgment He executes.” (Psalms 9) And of course, the Psalm that is read before the weekday Grace after meals, a Psalm that sends the gentilized Jews rushing from the table in horror:

“O daughter of Babylon that art to be destroyed; Happy shall he be that repayeth thee as thou hast done to us. Happy shall he be that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the rock.” (Psalm 137).

And the Jews of Ashkenaz who created a prayer of vengeance in memory of the Jews massacred during the Crusades, a prayer that we read each Sabbath and that says: “May He avenge the blood of His servants which has been shed, as it is written in the Torah of Moses, the man of God: “O nations, make His people joyful! He avenges the blood of His servants, renders retribution to His foes, and atones for His land and His people…” And in the holy writings it says: “Why should the nations say, Where is their God?”

And for the hapless and ignorantly hopeless who raise the half-a-cup of a Talmudic saying that God refused to allow the angels to rejoice over the downfall of the Egyptians. Let us forever torment the fraudulent by insisting on honesty and the complete text of the Talmudic saying:

“It is true that He does not rejoice but He causes others to rejoice.”

Of course the Almighty, the totality of Compassion, the Father of all, grieves for his children—all of them. He does not sing. His angels, who are not of this world, do not sing. BUT THE JEWS SING—AND ARE COMMANDED TO DO SO. For the very same reason that the very same Almighty who does not sing, does destroy the work of His hands because they are evil.

Yes, of course He grieves that those who were made in His image have so perverted and destroyed the greatness of that image. That those who were made in the image of good were so evil. In His grief He does not have pity. He destroys them: He knows that evil and He cannot share the same world. And thus do the rabbis declare (Shmot Raba 23): “Then did Moses and the children of Israel sing,” this is what is meant by the verse (Psalms 9): “The Lord is known by the judgment He executes. This speaks of Egypt who God smote at the Red Sea.” And Shmot Raba 23: “Then did Moses and the children of Israel sing. This is the meaning of the verse (Psalms 93): “Your throne was firm from then.” Even though You exist from time immemorial, Your throne was not made firm and You were not made known in the world until your children sang. When You stood at the sea and we sang before You with “az”, then were your kingdom and throne made firm.

The incredible perversion of Judaism by confused and guilt-ridden Hellenists! Our rabbis tell us (Midrash Avchir): “And Israel saw the great hand of God” When the Almighty wished to drown the Egyptians, the Archangel of Egypt (Uza) said: Sovereign of the Universe! You are called just and righteous…why do you wish to drown the Egyptians? At that moment Gabriel rose and took a brick and said: “Sovereign of the Universe! These who enslaved Your children such a terrible slavery as this, shall you have mercy on them?” Immediately, the Almighty drowned them.”

Passover—the holiday that decrees the death and destruction of wickedness, and not coexistence with it.

And that, dear Jew, is why the Torah recorded for posterity the song of Moses and Israel as the Egyptians drowned in the Red Sea. Yes, collective punishment against the Egyptians, even the Egyptian maids and servants perished because they were happy with the oppression of the Jews. What can be said of the Arab masses in Israel who danced on the rooftops as the Scuds from Saddam landed in Tel Aviv?

There is no help for it. Passover is a holiday of sanctification of God’s name. Of vengeance against the wicked. If the temple rabbi is unhappy, let him stop templing. If the gentile neighbor will be embarrassed, do not invite him. If the Jew is troubled, let him hie himself to the House of Study, a genuine one, and learn real Judaism. Then he will celebrate Passover the proper way, the Jewish way. “Pour forth Your wrath…”

I knew Israel’s new ambassador to Washington, Michael Oren. Now normally, so what? But I have been flooded with letters, petitions and articles asking why this non-diplomat, with one irrelevant book in his CV, was chosen over dozens of high- ranking Foreign Ministry bureaucrats, who toiled for years hoping to be appointed to the highest posting on earth. Let’s summarize the confusion with a letter from a longtime source, followed by a phone call from him from Israel:

What an incredibly off the wall pick for ambassador. Absolutely no government service- and the only academic credentials he has is from Shalem Center.
The pick reminds me of Dore Gold but that was to the UN- not US Ambassador. At least had an academic record. Oren is a one time author of a conventional book on one event in Israeli history. What gives?

Why so off the wall? Well for one thing, he opposes, on paper at least, PM Netanyahu’s basic security positions:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s candidate for Israeli ambassador to
Washington, Dr. Michael Oren, supports a unilateral Israeli withdrawal from
the West Bank and an evacuation of most of the settlements.

Oren, a visiting Georgetown University professor, said in a lecture there
last month, “The only alternative for Israel to save itself as a Jewish
state is by unilaterally withdrawing from the West Bank and evacuating most
of the settlements.”

To get to the bottom of the mystery, I have something personal to contribute. In 1979, Michael Oren and I were drafted into the Israeli army on the same day, arrived at the Bakkum Induction Center on the same bus, and became really good buddies in the two days we waited until we were assigned separate units. I ended up a sand-eating drudge and he got the best the army could offer, induction into the Mossad.
Michael looked tall, blond and gentile, so he was given a press card from the Kansas City Star, and toured Middle Eastern capitals as a journalist, not for Kansas, but for Israel. After our service ended, we met and, while I could only describe a bland time in the military, he described his tours of Iraq and Syria, the risks of being discovered, looking down on the Galilee from the Syrian POV, and, I remember this point most clearly, how good the food was in Damascus.
What my correspondents didn’t know was the Oren was not a nobody in the Israeli establishment, he was a Mossad, at least, asset, and probably much more than that. And the Mossad has decided to primp and prime him as a future Prime Minister for their purposes, though not necessarily for Israel’s good.
A relevant digression: Oren was not the first high-level Netanyahu appointment I knew in Israel. In 1997 he appointed Dr. Dore Gold his UN Ambassador and I knew him somewhat more than superficially. My piano playing pal Bob Blake was friends with the Wouk brothers, and I knew one of them, Joey from our days at Hebrew University. The Wouk’s father, Herman, wrote such hit books as The Caine Mutiny and War And Remembrance, the first much better than the second. The Wouk brothers were friends with Dore Gold and we all met at Bob’s apartment in the center of Jerusalem on numerous occasions. I liked Dore, I found out, more than he liked me, but I did not consider him UN ambassadorial material.
But once in his new appointment, I understood the reason for his advancement. He began writing articles, endlessly praising the personal advice and written diplomacy of Henry Kissinger. Gold was on board and with my different reading of Kissinger, we were now officially on two separate ships…his, the far more dangerous for Israel.
Two Prime Ministers who came out of Israel’s Washington embassy were Yitzhak Rabin and Binyamin Netanyahu. Kissinger was the primary American handler of both. Rabin began, in 1968, a modest kibbutz socialist and ended up going on the electoral stump for Nixon and Kissinger by 1972. During the Yom Kippur War of 1973, Kissinger told PM Golda Meir that if she wanted Israel rearmed, she would have to step down and somehow, appoint the political novice, Rabin, as her successor.
In September 1995, barely a month before he was murdered, Rabin told an unamusing story on Israeli tv. Apparently, Kissinger phoned him to complain about Netanyahu. It seems that he interrupted Kissinger the day before, asking Henry to alter his Golan Heights position. While I got the message loud and clear that both Israel’s PM and the leader of the opposition were run by Kissinger, Rabin viewed the story as something that passed for lighthearted.
Rabin was corrupted after he arrived in Washington, Netanyahu was pre-corrupted, but both saw their careers rise by associating with Kissinger’s think tank, the Council On Foreign Relations. And Israel pays the price with a government run by a mentality that has nothing to do with its people’s actual thinking. And though Israel just elected a right- wing government in a landslide, what they get are rulers about to fete a Nazi pope and, sending a talentless anti-religious cretin named Achinoam Nimni to the Eurovision, a big deal in Israel, but only on her condition that she invite an Arab to sing with her.
In short, voting is a waste of time and change is cosmetic. In Michael Oren, Washington took its first steps to sneaking him in to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, whether the Israelis or Netanyahu like it or not.
As for who Oren will listen to as ambassador; as everyone says, once in the Mossad, always in the Mossad.

I asked you not to vote, but only a third of you agreed. So here is what is being connived for you wasting your time: The “nationalist” camp won sixty-five seats, while the “moderate” camp won fifty-five seats, including eleven Arab parties. The Jews swamped the “peace” camp. But that camp had one party that got the most votes, Kadima, and the nation’s president, Shimon “the Pieman” Peres, comes from Kadima. So, although the nationalist leader Binyamin Netanyahu could put together a government in a matter of days, the “moderate” leader Tzipi Livni will get the first shot at government-building by Peres. It’s going to take a pile of bribery and blackmail, but she’s going to cobble together a coalition including Yisrael Beitenu, Shas, Labor, and—get ready—if the fight becomes deadly enough, even their true ideological partner, the Likud.
Sounds bizarre; the loser becomes the winner? It’s nothing. I was in court, front and center, for the rigging of the 1996 Israeli elections by Netanyahu. Now follow closely—I rarely have the opportunity to be nostalgic.

On April 3, 1997, I was supposed to lecture at Hebrew University on Who Murdered Yitzhak Rabin; the lecture was organized by my still formidable friend, Brian Bunn. As it turned out, the Labor Party, led by Knesset member Eitan Cabel and the secret service, Shabak, organized a violent rally against me that turned me into front page news. The intent was to humiliate me, but the result was the start of my new career as a political crimes writer. Not that I’m thanking them; they didn’t mean to and it’s an insecure life, although there are rewards, like you reading this.

The morning after the riot, I received a phone call from Yaacov Mor. He introduced himself as, “The economist for the Minister of Welfare And Social Affairs, Eli Yishai.” Today Yishai is the leader of the Shas Party. Mor continued, “But I previously worked for the Shabak. What I want to know is what you have that made the Shabak try to bury you.”
So I invited Mor to my home to see my evidence. Back then I had some eighty documents. Not the 2500 I ended up with, but they were devastating in proving Yigal Amir did not shoot Rabin. I had the police ballistics results showing that Rabin was shot at point blank, something Amir could not physically have done, and I had the hospital reports declaring that Rabin was shot three times, and once from the front, neither of which Amir was responsible for.
Yaacov was a naturally sympathetic fellow, and without hesitation I handed him my evidence collection, which he read in silence over the next half hour. When he finished, he put his right index finger vertically over his lips and used his left hand to guide me outside. When we reached the street, he said, “I’m not talking in your house. You have to be thoroughly bugged. Do you know those documents are authentic?”
I said I did.
“Then why didn’t you get a job in Nepal or have an ‘accident?’ Do you know how high up this murder had to go?”
I answered that I did know how high up it had to go.
“I’ll tell my Minister what I saw and I’m sure he’ll contact you.”
The next morning Eli Yishai’s secretary called me. “Minister Yishai would like to have your documents, and in return, he will give you the most important story of the Rabin assassination. Do you agree?”
Indeed I did. In fact, I would have given him the documents anyway; that’s how much I still believed in the inherent honesty of the political system. That would change for good in the next two days.
Bright and chipper, Yaacov picked me up for the cheery ride to building Kirya 3, opposite the Knesset, and home to Eli Yishai’s office. I made a little error, giving my documents to the secretary before I closed the deal. She guided me into a small office, closed the door, and I heard a vigorous conversation in the hall outside. Finally, the Shas Spokesman, Yisrael Sudri, then twenty-four or so (and I believe he holds the same job today), came in, shut the door behind him, and sat down.
“The Minister could not attend the meeting,” he announced, “But he wants you to know that he backs every claim I will make.”
A bit of a comedown, but I accepted the arrangement— like I really had a choice.
“It’s about the 1996 elections…Netanyahu didn’t win. Peres won by 3 percent just like all the polls had it. But the Likud had documents, and we think you’ve collected some of them. We’re sure of it, actually. In February of ‘96, the leaders of the Likud met the leaders of Labor for a frank discussion of the elections. The Likud presented the documents, then someone, we think Netanyahu, held a few in his hand and said, ‘If you bring up the name of Yitzhak Rabin even once in your campaign, we’ll release these to the media.’ Netanyahu lifted another bundle of documents and said, ‘If Peres wins our tv debate, we’ll release these.’ Finally, he takes all the documents and says, ‘And if Peres wins the elections, we’ll release them all.’
“Now, I don’t have to remind you that Rabin’s name was not mentioned once in Labor’s campaign and that Peres looked like a scary monster on the tv debate. But how could the election results be faked? We are going to leave you the name and phone number of a Tel Aviv law school PhD candidate. His thesis is on the ‘96 elections. He’ll tell you.”
I arranged to meet the PhD lawyer-to-be at a very empty and remote Tel Aviv restaurant. We sat in the remotest table and he made his voice inaudible at a range of five meters. In fact he almost whispered the whole meeting. As it turned out, it didn’t help.
“This Labor-Likud partnership destroyed over 160,000 votes for Peres, and replaced them with spoiled ballots.”
Back to the present. That’s almost 5 percent of the vote spoiled. In the 2000 elections, there was a highly publicized campaign to deliberately spoil votes as a protest, and ‘only’ 61,000 were spoiled.
“Think back to the election night. Peres was declared the winner by all the polls but refused to address and thank his crowd in Tel Aviv. But at midnight, a smiling Netanyahu addressed a half-empty rally in Jerusalem promising them that by morning he would be Prime Minister. Then at 2 AM, the revolution in vote change appears out of nowhere. By morning, Netanyahu has won. He knew the results were fixed.”
I added an obvious thought. “So the Likud’s documents proved Peres murdered Rabin?”
He gazed at the table and answered, “Is there another possibility?”
The lawyer-to-be added, “I trust you. I have strong proof that the vote destruction was organized by Interior Minister Chaim Ramon. Contact me tomorrow and we’ll meet again to see my thesis.”
The next day, he called me. “I got a phone call. We can’t meet.” I asked, “Do you mean today?” He replied, “I mean ever.” He hung up for good and I don’t recall his name.
But I told his story to audiences whenever I felt it was appropriate. The usual reaction was, “So why didn’t Netanyahu use the documents to get rid of Peres and Labor for good?” The answer is Labor and Peres have enough information on Netanyahu to have made this a one-election deal. That’ll do until and if the whole story is ever told by someone who was there.
Then, in Bet Shemesh in 2001, I told the story to a crowd of over eighty, and one response hit the jackpot. The man said, “I was an election poll supervisor and when the polls closed, we took votes for Peres out of the boxes and burnt them out back. We replaced them with spoiled votes and resealed the boxes. I never understood who allowed this to happen, but I didn’t want Peres elected so I played ball.”
As for story back-up, my Bet Shemesh organizer was David Morris. Another eighty people heard the truth about this man’s polling station at the lecture. As for Sudri, I chose to expose him after he appeared at Peres’ eightieth birthday bash. I was protesting outside when he appeared. I told him, “How could you celebrate Peres? I know what you told me?” He walked by, then turned around and shouted, “You’re ruining the country.”

So when I suggest that voting props up a political system run by murderers and their aiders and abetters, remember that when Shimon Peres gives Tzipi Livni the nod to form a coalition including Eli Yishai’s Shas Party. But if Netanyahu is somehow given the first shot, recall that he still holds the big cards on Peres.

On October 23, 2008, in Tel Aviv, Grigori (Gershon) Trestman and Sergei Podrazhanski will be put on trial. They are under indictment for incitement on the basis of racism, fanning the flames of inter-ethnic tensions, the demonization of the Arabs etc. The accused, Grigori Trestman, is one of the most
distinguished Israeli and Jewish poets, writing today in Russian, and his poetic reputation is high and
irreproachable both in Russia and in Russian speaking Israel. As far as the case’s co-respondent is concerned, Podrazhanski is accused as the publisher (editor of the newspaper “Vesti”) of the criminally-punishable text.
The text in question is a quotation (a few ironic/parodic stanzas) from the parodic poem “Lieberman’s Paradigm.”

“And the full fruition is a nightmare: the number of Israeli Arabs has gotten to above a million, and is still rising quite a bit. Look at them – everything goes dark before your eyes! I will say with all due respect to the Jews – Arabs work hard at nights in the name of replenishing the species. An eclipse of the moon ray, a breath of death, a trace of a plague? A (female) hare, a cat, a locust does not know such passion! And no matter that some prophecy happiness for us – the road to our grave is
being paved for us every night, every night, by the womb of the Arab woman.”

This trial, ludicrous to the point of unseemliness, has a political undertone (which is the overtone as well) obvious to everyone in Israel. In the current situation, with the possibility of early elections,
and the unusually intensified issue of impending territorial/political concessions, which in the view of a
sufficiently representative number of Israelis and foreign commentators are incompatible with Israel’s life, the reigning establishment is ready to do anything to suppress possible resistance.

The widely recognized leader of that resistance is Avigdor Liberman. No one doubts that this entire shameful action is directed precisely at him. But it’s even more shameful that a poet is being used as the means of delegitimizing this political figure.

Irony is not an obstacle, indeed has never been an obstacle to the seriousness of a text. Even setting aside the fact that, in the criminally punishable stanzas, Grigori Trestman simply translates into a poetical register a well-known statement of Arafat’s (An Arab woman’s womb is more threatening to the Jews than an atomic bomb), the very posing of the question is shameful and insane: “So, Trestman as a poet and Jew doesn’t have the right to hate those who hate us and crave our destruction?”

The popular left wing figure Yosif Sarid (and not only he), when he was minister of culture and education, proposed introducing into the curriculum for Israeli schoolchildren the work of the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, who called for the murder of Jews and the destruction of the Jewish state. The author of this letter regrets that Sarid’s desire has not so far been realized. The rising generation of Israelis should know those who hate them, instead of the childish, rosy rhetoric that’s crammed into them …
Precisely at a time when this comical case against was brought against G. Trestman for a poetic parody, a wave of Islamic anger washed across the world in response to the classic Western parody genre of the caricature. Western governments defended their culture, but the Israeli government (through its jurisdiction and at the direction of the Arab organization “Mosaua”) was prepared to show yet again its dedication to the “peace process” and make its latest sacrifice at the altar of “Israeli-Islamic brotherhood.” Apparently the Israeli government does not consider its culture to be Western.

This shameful case has been going on since 2005, and one would like to look in the face the government’s judicial adviser Meni Mazuz, on whose initiative this case was brought, and in the faces of the police officers who for more then three years concocted the case against the poet, and talk with them about poetry, freedom of creation and the right of every individual person to hatred.

There is a boundary of loyalty for Russian speaking Jews in regard to Israel. That boundary ends where a person’s honor and dignity are involved. The honor and dignity of the poet, of his readers and
admirers, indeed of free-thinking, independent citizens in general, have been dealt a blow.

And therefore: I am not asking for the defense of Grigori Trestman. I am accusing the Israeli establishment of political sordidness and cultural blindness.

From the point of view of the author of this letter, the aliah to Israel, agonizing as it is, will, after this case, turn into a mass outflow of Jews from Israel. And there will be no way to object to that.

Regardless of the court’s decision – guilty or innocent – the very fact of this judicial farce is shameful and disgraceful.

Call it an update. Twelve hours ago, a shot rang out near the goodbye ceremony for French President Nicolas Sarkozy at Ben Gurion Airport.
The band had just started up its loud farewell repertoire. At the moment Sarkozy, President Peres and Prime Minister Olmert clasped hands in unity for the cameras, a shot was heard. If anyone thought this was an assassination, security went out the window. Instead of jumping on their leaders, security rushed them to their cars and plane. Sarkozy was a wide-open target as he climbed to his plane.
But then the truth was learned. At the moment that the band began and the leaders shook hands for the cameras, a clever longtime soldier assigned to an elite Border Guard unit, thought, great time to kill myself. And just when he was in perfect position; 100 yards from the ceremony with a 400 yard range rifle, on a roof, with the politicians in his sites! Darn.
Plus, he didn’t just choose the right moment to die noticed, his dying post was perfect. If he shot himself from a roof, maybe he could arrange for his body to fall off the roof, too. And best of all for the full drama, he decided to kill himself in front of his, “guarding partner,” and two women soldiers who fainted and were taken to the hospital. Now, we have seen Israeli woman soldiers after countless ghastly, hideous terror acts, where their sense of duty prevents open shows of revulsion. They don’t faint. But today, TWO female soldiers fainted at the same moment and required hospital treatment, which would include terrifying scenarios of what would happen if they opened their mouths.
You see, the entire media was removed from the airport as soon as the shot was fired. No pesky “Kempler” films, which revealed the Shin Bet’s role in the Rabin murder, would suddenly appear, exposing the murderers, maybe this time for good. The eye-witnesses just needed coaching under duress.
Now if I was investigating this latest incident, suspect number one would be the victim’s partner. However, I know from my Rabin expose, the coverup has already begun in earnest. All relevant physical and ballistic evidence will be rigged to suit the crime and the eye-witnesses will become quiet, like the Rabin family.
I admit, this is early in the game, but still, from what you know about suicide, would anyone really kill himself on the job, without a note? Would he really wait for them to strike up the band to cover his shot? Some attention seeker. He shoots himself just as Peres, Olmert and Sarkozy are hand-hugging, but makes sure the band covers up the act.
There is nothing conclusive here. Just the proper balance of suspicion and intelligence so you take the official explanations with a hugely delicious special double grain of salt. You can bet on one thing though; Sarkozy will the last world President to visit Israel in a long while.

Officer’s family: He didn’t commit suicide
The dead Border Guard officer was identified as Raid Asaad Ghanan, 32, of the Druze village of Beit Jan. his family members refused to believe that he had committed suicide.
“We scornfully reject the claims that our son took his own life,” a family member said. “He was a kindhearted and happy person. He had a family and there was no reason for him to do such a horrible thing.”
The officer’s father, Asaad Ghanan, said that his son had left the house on Tuesday morning in good spirits.
“He had a family, he had friends, he had plans for the future and had no reason to commit suicide,” the father said.
Naif, Raid’s brother, said that the police representatives who informed the family of their son’s death, had told them that the circumstances of the incidents were unclear and would be probed by an investigating officer.
“It is unthinkable that my brother took his own life. We believe this was an accident, or even an incident in which my brother was accidentally shot by one of the security officials in the area.”

I have never seen such open anti-Semitism in this country since World War II as I have seen today. It is open. The slightest problem – it comes out in black and white. I’m warning you, do not ever listen to your Jewish leaders who say, It couldn’t happen here, this isn’t Germany. Of course this isn’t Germany, but neither Germany was Germany always. In Germany they used to tell people that this isn’t Poland. Every country has its way. Nobody loved their country as much as the Jews in Germany did.

Nobody felt as German as did the Jews of Germany. They didn’t even call themselves Jews, they called themselves Germans of the Mosaic faith. They loved Germany with a passion that no one here could ever feel. Germany had a Jewish Foreign Minister in 1922. America didn’t have a Jewish Secretary of State until 1972, and it was only because he fled Germany. If someone would have asked a Jew, any Jew in the world in 1920, Who is the worst of anti-Semites? not one would have said, Germans. They would have said, Poles, and Slovaks, and Ukrainians, and Lithuanians, and Romanians, and Hungarians.

Germans were the best, cultured. And then it happened. It did not happen because Germans are different. They are not different. Jews visit Poland today. Are you crazy? You’re spending money there? Their hands are red with Jewish blood, what do you want to see in Poland? Give them the cemetery. I want money to go to Jewish life and not for Jewish death. It happened in Germany not because they are any different, it happened because there was a terrible economic collapse. People not only lost jobs, but they lost hope. People who lose hope will follow anyone who offers them hope. That’s what happened, and you want to tell me it couldn’t happen here?

Your problem is that your local Jewish leaders are these losers. It’s incredible who is chosen to be a leader, ignoramuses. They’re not chosen for their scholarship, their knowledge, their piety. They’re chosen for their money and their ability to raise money. They don’t know what people think about Jews. They sit at dinners, and banquets, national conferences of Christians and Jews. And they sit and exchange conversation and humor and joke, and plaques. “This here is your plaque and this is my plaque.” There is only one place where people can find out what people really think about Jews, and that’s in a bar, a neighborhood working class bar, not a trendy bar over here in downtown San Francisco. Even if it is a happy one. A working class bar, that’s where the Schnapps go in and that’s where you hear what comes out. That’s where you hear America saying, the jealousy, the Jews own this, and the Jews, – that’s when times are good. God forbid if there should be an economic collapse in this country, God forbid it would be the Jews who are blamed. Michael, the Jews. Not the Blacks, because the anti-Semites blame the Jews for everything, including the Blacks. The tragedy of our time is that Jews don’t want to see it.

It is on top of us and we don’t want to see it. A country with the deficit of over two trillion dollars, the biggest debtor in the world. If the Japanese would someday lose faith in the dollar, and stop covering our debts here, there goes the ballgame.
There is no relationship between Wall Street and the real world. The biggest gambling joint north of New Jersey. The economy here is in terrible, terrible shape. We’re losing jobs, we’re losing trades, we’re losing everything. And you sit there… Think carefully, especially young people.

Go home, go home. If you’re in college, this summer go to Israel. Who says every Jew has to be a PhD? Where does it say that? Why is it that every Jew has to be a doctor, an attorney? Where? Go to Israel, enroll in a yeshiva. If you don’t like it, quit, if you do like it, stay. And learn a trade, learn to work with your hands. Plant a tree in Judea somewhere, be a farmer, get married and have a dozen babies. Every one of those children is a gem to us, we owe Hitler two million babies. Pay him back, in this case interest is allowed. And then thirty years from now when you are sitting in your Jewish state, with your grandchildren in a settlement which has now become a town, and you speak to them how it was when you first came and how difficult, they’ll look up at you and tell you in Hebrew, What a grandfather, what a grandmother. Then you’ll know what Jewish happiness is. Go home, go home. We don’t need money, we need Jews.

Reagan’s Secretary of Defense was Casper Weinberger, one generation removed from the Jewish heritage his name suggests. Uncomfortable and insecure, Weinberger was known to distance himself as much as possible from both Jews and Israel. In fact some who knew him described Weinberger as both antisemitic and anti-Israel.

It is at least coincidental that, having been turned down for employment by the CIA, that Weinberger’s Naval Intelligence (NI) would have hired Pollard, an openly Zionist Jew. Perhaps more curious is that Pollard was then assigned to the team tasked to supply Israel with intelligence materials mandated under the 1983 Memorandum of Understanding between the two states. Put another way, Pollard was somehow assigned to the precise position allowing him oversight of which intelligence was being passed to Israel, and what was being withheld. Pollard could not fail to appreciate that critical information was being illegally denied Israel in violation of the Memorandum. Which either describes Naval Intelligence as an service completely inept and naïve, or perhaps some more devious purpose was at play?

In order to avoid an open trial which the government feared might have compromised US intelligence sources and methods the prosecution proposed a plea agreement in which Pollard was assured “leniency in sentencing” in exchange for a closed court hearing. Pollard, whose interest was in helping Israel, not in harming the United States, agreed. Barely twenty minutes before sentencing Weinberger arrived at the judges chambers with his infamous “secret memorandum.” In apparent acquiescence to the defense secretary’s demand Judge Robinson ignored the plea agreement and sentenced Pollard to life without parole. Clearly not satisfied Weinberger addressed the press to denounce Pollard as a traitor. A former Halliburton attorney the defense secretary clearly knew that Pollard’s crime, charge and conviction were not for treason. Pollard, Weinberger was quoted as saying, should have been given a death sentence, not life in prison.

Do you understand what is happening there? The country is falling apart. It is Shamir’s fault, it isn’t the left. He allows this Intifada to go on for 15 months, what does he expect? This poor soldier, he doesn’t know what he’s doing, why he’s here. He isn’t allowed to put it down, his hands are tied. So he has to beat up and shoot every single day, and he doesn’t want to. Of course it’s Shamir’s fault, and Likud’s fault, and Peres’, certainly. And so people really feel guilty. That’s why more and more people are just dying to run away from Israel. Hundreds of thousands want to leave Israel. They want to get away, they want to flee the country. The country is falling apart.

So now try to understand why. You know God does things in his own way. And I thought to myself, why was this done to Kach? Of course you had the evil ring there, why did God allow us to be here? Maybe we didn’t deserve, that’s a reason. But maybe there’s a better reason. Think about it carefully, maybe God saved us from our own delusions. And saved us for the Jewish people. What would have happened if we would have run? We would have won ten seats, eleven, twelve seats and cheered the third largest party in the Knesset. What would have happened next? The Likud and Labor would have gotten together, this time immediately. Not in fifty one days, immediately, in one day. Stop Kahane. So we would be in the Knesset, ten, twelve

seats, ah ha frustrating. And they would this time stay together for four years, this would be the kind of unhappy wedlock that is really, really locked. You know what they can do to Israel in four years? Let’s say that Israel would still be weaving and wobbly after four years, and we ran again. And this time we got thirty seats, because of people saying, Only Kahane! 30, 35 seats – they would get together again. Therefore I want to tell you, the only hope of Israel is to somehow put an end to this whole system and have a strong government take over. Listen carefully, carefully. Obviously the answer is for the people to get out

and overthrow the government, but you don’t say that. For two reasons. One, they won’t do it, secondly if you think I sat for a long time in 1980 wait until you see this. So you don’t say that, and I have never said that. But what you do is you begin to put it subtly into the minds of the people. Under the slogan, Take your faith into your own hands. Which can mean anything. We are going to demand, and we will not get it yet, but we are going to demand a referendum. We are signing up hundreds and thousands of people for a referendum which will call for

the dispersal of the Knesset and elections within thirty days in which the groups that run must be committed to a platform of five basic orders. One, to putting down of the Intifada immediately with every means necessary. Two, the annexation of the territories so that we will put an end to this nonsense that there are only two choices: a Palestinian state or a continuation of the occupation. There are not two choices, there are three choices. The third choice is a just choice, a Jewish choice: a Jewish state there. Israel, not Judea, Israel.

Three, a choice given to all Arabs to remain in the country with personal rights and no political rights or leave the country. Four, a total change in the economic system. Free enterprise, bring down the Histadrut, make it a trade union only, that is its function. Sell off state enterprises, and bring in free enterprise, capitalism. Bring in private capital, let the country become normal again. Throw the bureaucrats into the sea one by one. And five, a basic change in the educational system in Israel. To give young Jews the kind of Jewish pride, the Jewish knowledge. Judaism, Zionism that they lack totally today. Any group that is willing to run

and accept those platforms and promise to implement them will run. In the election, one party wins, no coalitions. The leading party gets the government, and it gets the government for four years to implement this program. In World War II, 1939 to 1945, six years, Britain froze democracy. There were no elections in Great Britain for six years, because there was a crisis and Churchill said, What kind of election? What are you, crazy? Hitler’s bombing, what kind of election? Six years and there were no elections, that’s what Israel needs. Now no one here is calling to overthrow the government, but what we’re calling for is for the people to go and vote

and to decide. We want them to go to a referendum. We’re the people. We’re the ultimate authority in this country. We want to go back to Vermont or Athenian system. The people are going to vote. On this issue no delegates, no representatives, we personally want to vote on this. If it should go through, it would save Israel. Less than that, nothing is going to save the country. This mafia there has the country by the throat, and they’ll never let us run. In Yediot newspaper last week there was a news item about the Mossad planning to shoot me several months ago, when I was still running. No question about it.

These are the people who are capable of doing anything. They have done it already. People who turned over Jews to the British, people who shot Jews on the Altalena, people who did what they did to Sephardic Jews, people who kidnap Yemenite Jews, they can do anything. Anything at all. That’s why this it the only hope of Israel. Now we have to do this cleverly, but this is the only way, and know that.

The present situation in Sudan and its leader Omar al-Bashir holds some important lessons for Israel. The Khartoum government has ignored the pleadings and warnings of the Western nations to stop the Sudanese army and their surrogates, the Janaweed, from continue to slaughter and ethnically cleans the southern Sudan. The Khartoum government consistently denies their support of the Janaweed.

What can Israel learn from this? The first lesson is to imagine themselves in the position of the southern Sudanese. The UN has proven ineffectual. The token troops are impotent and the Khartoum government manages to thwart all but the meager attempts of the NGOs to alleviate the dire suffering and continuing death toll. The entire world looks on and does nothing about the Chinese support and arms transfer to the Sudan government. What would the world do if Israel were to find herself in a similar situation where a coordinated attack by all her adjacent, surrounding, enemies, supported by Iran, China and Russia were to occur? I can envision speeches at the UN, an outraged press, and aid in the form of emergency evacuations for “key” people. An ineffectual token UN force… and not much more.

What else can Israel learn? The next lesson is to imagine themselves in the position of the Sudanese leaders. I don’t mean to envision Israel perpetrating ethnic cleansing; something unimaginable, but Israel being forced to consider Gaza as an independent country; an enemy who has declared war against her. The aim of war, as Clausewitz noted, is to destroy the enemy’s ability to wage war by attacking its infrastructure.

What would the world do if Israel ceased its supply of all electricity and fuel…stopped all goods from entering Gaza and declared an embargo of Gaza? In addition, Israel would declare a 20 mile free-fire zone; a zone in which all targets would be considered with no regard to the civilian populations. The population would move away from that zone and anything moving would be considered a military target. Next, significant parts of the Gaza infrastructure would be bombed; water treatment plants, sewerage plants, electrical production facilities and transmission points. One must remember, the Western world insisted upon elections in Gaza and the population, in a democratic, free, fair and monitored election, chose Hamas’ leaders who at the time of campaigning, were candid in their goal of militarily attacking Israel and wiping Israel off the map.

So here we have a democratically elected government carrying out the wishes of their electorate to wage war and destroy a neighbor. I predict that the Western world, after shrill admonishments, will do nothing.

Eventually, the Palestinian population will rise up against Hamas and install a government who will cease hostilities against Israel, neutralize the Hamas remnants, and look after the welfare of their people. Then, and only then, will the West and Israel support their new government.
