“We stand by you and support you,” says South Africa’s Intelligence Minister Kasrils to Hamas’ Haniyeh, demands that international community lifts sanctions against the Hamas government. South Africa traditionally aligned itself with Israel. Ronnie Kasrils is a Jew, works for the black African National Congress.

A group of South Africans which includes its supreme court “justice” arrived in Israel to investigate Israel’s abuses of Palestinian human rights.
American leftists and reformists often asked Rabbi Meir Kahane why doesn’t he participate in their anti-apartheid demonstrations. Rabbi Kahane explained that he won’t move a finger to subvert a white South African government friendly to Israel and replace it with Black government which hates Israel.

The spiritual leader of South African Blacks is concerned with Israel’s shelling of the terrorist nest in Beit Hanun, the place he would not find on map – that is, if he knows what a map is.
When all the Jewish liberals of America were fighting apartheid, Rabbi Meir Kahane was the only loud voice which called to support South Africa, the world’s only regime friendly to Israel. Rabbi Kahane predicted that once Blacks take the power in South Africa, that country would turn extremely hostile to Israel. As usual, Kahane was right.

The Guardian published a story of Israel agreeing to sell nuclear warheads to South Africa in 1975. Though Shimon Peres weaselly denied the report, the affair is in fact well-known and true.

So yes, we offered to sell a few nuclear warheads to our close ally, so what? And it was not exactly a sale: South Africa took part in Israeli nuclear program. Likewise, Pakistan delivered several nuclear kits to Saudi Arabia in return for funding Pakistani nuclear program. Pakistan requested North Korean nuclear assistance to Iran in return for revealing Pakistani nuclear technologies to the communists. This kind of nuclear cooperation is common.

And moreover, Israel offered nuclear assistance to the Shah of Iran, though Peres kept saying later that we intended to cheat the Shah like we cheated him on conventional weapons: receiving huge advance payments and delaying the deliveries forever.

Israeli cooperation with the apartheid South Africa was relatively small. Arab and African states, the first to condemn the apartheid regime, accounted for the bulk of South African trade. Western countries supplied South Africa with weapons.

We need not be ashamed of our friends, especially when they are replaced with the black terrorists of Nelson Mandela’s ilk, enemies of Israel and the friends of our Arab enemies.

Meir Kahane was the only Jewish leader who tried to stop Jews from marching against apartheid. Yet, stupid Jews insisted on replacing a friendly South African government with black anti-Semites.

Desmond Tutu has asked the American United Methodist Church to divest from several Israeli companies. Methodists tend to be more anti-Semitic than the general population, so while Tutu’s request may not be acted upon, it will be well received.

During the time when Jewish liberals marched against apartheid, Rabbi Kahane was the only one who said forcefully that African rights are not our business, and that their struggle would bring a virulently anti-Semitic black government to power in place of an apartheid regime that was very friendly to Israel.
