A British court has rejected a Palestinian petition to arrest Ehud Barak for war crimes in Gaza because he is a “state guest,” and thus enjoys diplomatic immunity. The verdict leaves Israelis on private and other non-diplomatic trips to Britain vulnerable to local prosecution.

The Israeli government has agreed to release 20 female Palestinian security prisoners in exchange for a current video showing that Shalit is alive.

But German negotiators confirmed having already seen such a video, so clearly the kidnapped person is alive, and there is no reason to release the terrorists.

MK Danny Danon promised to send Obama a recent report on the pitiful state of the Gush Katif evacuees as proof that Israel will carry out no more evacuations in the West Bank on the whims of Americans.
