After the government tentatively ended the Ethiopian debacle by announcing the supply of African Christian (”Jews”) exhausted, Olmert favors immigration for seven thousand of Indians who also claim to be Jewish. Today, only about 700 Samaritans survive, mostly in Schem and Holon, and it is a great tragedy that those exemplary Jews are threatened with assimilation. While it is still possible, visit them in Schem to get a feeling of the real Jews.
