Israel Uncensored News

The Cabinet discussed today this outrageous question. Russia supplies highly advanced weapons to Syria and Iran which target Israel, but Israeli government is concerned about Russian reaction to the meager supply of Jewish weapons to Georgia.
Under the pressure from Livni, Israel earlier this year refused most of Georgia’s requests for weapons, and other suppliers have since stepped in. The politically correct morons from the establishment make Israel lose export markets. The restrictions especially affected Elbit company which produces high-end electronics and intelligence systems. In the previous case of dumping Elbit’s legitimate business, Israeli government barred the company from leasing an intelligence satellite to Venezuela; the ban led to Morris Talansky’s (a shareholder) lawsuit.
Israel should take this perfect chance for a peripheral war with Russia. For decades, Russians armed Israel’s enemies and now there is a chance to retaliate. Russia will supply arms to Syria and Iran no matter what Israel does, perhaps as slightly scaled-down systems or through the third countries. Israel cannot stop Russian arms sales by whining and crying injustice. The only approach which Russians recognize is force.
Israel, therefore, must now supply Georgia with anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles to humiliate Russian army. Such sales would answer to the international understanding of justice, as both the US and NATO have condemned Russian attacks on Georgia. Modern Israeli weapons would definitely defeat the outdated Russian army which lacks trained pilots and tank drivers, in fact none of them conforms to the Israeli or American standards for the lack of training. The triumph of Israeli weapons against Russia would increase Israeli prestige and arms exports.
Russia greatly abets Israel’s enemies.Whether or not it has sold S-300 to Iran, it definitely sold TOR-1M anti-aircraft batteries whose only purpose is shooting down Israeli planes. Russia builds nuclear reactors for Iran and supplies it with enriched uranium, besides hard diplomatic support for Iran’s nuclear enrichment. The only way for Israel to stop Russia’s indirect attacks on the Jewish state is to help Russia’s opponents in many peripheral conflicts initiated by Putin’s regime.

After Olmert announced his departure, Barak no longer needs to look tough and started talking common sense. In TV interview, he admitted that Israeli invasion of Gaza cannot stop terror attacks or destroy Hamas. Earlier, Barak repeatedly promised massive invasion of Gaza.
Barak dismissed arms smuggling into Gaza as unimportant. Sure, those low-end weapons would be unimportant in a serious war, but they can make the low-intensity conflict hard on Israel.

Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Qurei said his compatriots might start a drive for obtaining Israeli citizenship.
Such attempt should be welcome. We cannot give Arabs the Jewish land of Judea and Samaria, but once another two million Arabs join Israel, the need to expel them would be clear.

NU, NRP members seek to establish a single list for the upcoming elections. Their lame reasoning goes that a unified list can gather broad support from religious voters.
That is sheer nonsense. Israeli religious voters belong to various niche groups which refuse to intermingle or even interact. Ultra-Orthodox would never vote for a religious Zionist party. The Jewish National Front right-wing supporters would be taken aback by Meimad Party, a left-wing religious outfit.
Another strategy makes more sense. Each mid-sized religious party should run separately, fully tapping into its niche audience. Small parties which cannot otherwise pass the anti-democratic electoral barrier, have to unite. After the Knesset elections, all of them should cooperate on political issues without concerning themselves with theoretical religious differences.

from the day one of the conflict, since Friday. Four cargo planes leave Jordan for Georgia daily, reports Maariv. The US is also sending Georgian contingent in Iraq back home.
During the 1973 war, it took the US more than a week to decide on the airlift to Israel.

for the total of four, including 3 US carriers and one in the Red Sea.
It seems that Iran’s Minister of Tourism, a relative of Ahmadinejad, was a bit too late in proclaiming friendship to Israeli and American people.

Five month after Merkaz HaRav terrorist act, Israeli government still deliberates on demolishing the terrorist family’s house.
Hostile Arabs built hundreds of thousands of housing units illegally, including on private Jewish land - and the government does nothing.
The government had no qualms about bulldozing a house of Mahmud Alsaria, a top Bedouin pathfinder in the IDF, disabled after 18 years of service. Mahmud did not obtain construction permit, as virtually every other Bedouin. His IDF service was apparently too good for the police’ leftists who made a point of persecuting Bedouins in the IDF in the apparent attempt to discourage them from service.
Police have a remarkable leeway in executing court orders on demolishing illegals houses. Many such orders remain unfulfilled for years, and police don’t even try to force them in hostile Arab villages. It was different with relatively friendly Bedouins.

Russian-made Grad rockets repeatedly hit Israel from Gaza. Now Russians can enjoy their own weapons as Georgians kill at least three Russian peacekeepers with Grad rocket attacks.

McCain urges NATO diplomatic action against Russia for [very reasonably] continuing to attack Georgia. Obama is silent so far but will be forced to say something to follow McCain’s lead.
When Israel is under attack, I’d better have McCain in the Oval Office.

A Kassam rocket fired from Gaza lands in Sderot. The previous rocket hit Negev on Shabbat.
Fatah-aligned factions launch rockets in order to push Israel to oust Hamas. The factions are financed with Israeli tax transfers which go to the Palestinian Authority.
