The Supreme Court rejected petition by the Reform Movement’s Religious Action Center to refuse government funding to religious schools under the pretext that they ignore the government’s program, notably the vehemently anti-religious civics classes. For the last 150 years, the Reform Movement aggressively undermines traditional Judaism. The court rejected the petition on technical grounds, as the Knesset just have passed a bill which caps yeshiva financing at 60% the atheist school level. The court saw no problem with gross inequality where atheist pupils receive twice the religious ones’ funding.
