Defense Minister Barak requested a legal opinion from Justice Minister Friedmann on attacking Gaza’s residential areas during the war in Gaza. One need not be a jurist to answer. Any yeshiva student knows the answer, “As they have no mercy on you, so you shall have no mercy upon them.”

While Palestinians are shooting at Israeli troops in Gaza, schizophrenic Israeli government allowed a massive convoy of 62 trucks into Gaza with medical, other supplies.

Arabs in the West Bank and Jerusalem area, our soon-to-be good neighbors, staged violent demonstrations against the Gaza invasion: throwing stones and Molotoff cocktails at Israelis, burning tires, and crying their hallmark, Yahud Itbach, Slaughter the Jews.
IDF killed a 13-year-old Arab during the riots.

It’s getting personal as three Israeli rockets smashed Hamas “prime-minister’s” office. Hamas announced that in doing so, “Israel has crossed the red line.” Hopefully, yes.
At least ten Arabs are killed today in Gaza, four Jewish civilians wounded by the Kassam rocket fire, more treated for shock.

Olmert responded very well to the world’s condemnation of Jews who refuse to die quietly as they should under rocket attacks from Gaza, “The State of Israel defends its citizens and nothing will deter us. Nobody has the right to preach morals to Israel for taking basic measures to defend itself.”
Olmert also asserted that Abbas understands that Israel’s attacks on Hamas benefit the peace process-cum-Fatah. Fatah’s negotiator Erekat pleased the good Jews a lot when announced that the peace process “is buried in the dust of Israeli invasion of Gaza.”
The war in Gaza will continue for the next few days, as the government scheduled new meeting on it for Wednesday.

Egypt ostensibly means to treat the wounded Palestinians in Sinai hospitals, though the targeted Hamas leaders may escape by that route.
Egypt was less considerate about its “Palestinian brothers” during the years it controlled Gaza, where its military behaved like on safari.

The weasel wording superficially applies both to Israel and Hamas, but since Hamas cannot be pressed into any agreement, the UN condemnation effectively targets Israel only. Israel will have to stop, and then the UN would do nothing when Palestinians continue firing rockets at Israel.

A leftist Jewish rep of UN commission on refugees Micki Bavli demands that Israel don’t deport the infiltrators. Micki, go keep the Blacks in your own house if you like them.

Months ago, Israel pardoned hundreds members of Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades and released a thousand more from Israeli jails. All of them signed a laughable promise to never-ever again engage in terrorism against Israel.
After Israel invaded Gaza, Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade rejected its earlier commitment and vowed to resume suicide bombings in Israel.
Those who seek peace or truce with Palestinians need take a lesson, if they are able to learn.

How about sending some of Shas constituency, the ultra-Orthodox Jews to serve in the IDF first?

Israeli embassies around the world will hold press conferences explaining that the Jewish state cannot sit quiet when thousands of rocket hit its south regions. The problem with Israeli propaganda is that the world cares not a bit about dead Jews.

Chief of Israel’s Military Intelligence told the government that rocket attacks on Israel intensified after the IDF dealt “a huge blow” to Hamas, killing 5 of its operatives (out of 20,000) trained “in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.” Amos Yadlin did not elaborate why the five operatives were so greatly important to Hamas, what immense terrorist act they prepared, what moved them to receive training in all the three major terrorist countries, or what so critical training is required for a terrorist act.

in the large military operation in Gaza. Why should we pay with Jewish lives, and many of them, for clearing the road to power in Gaza for Barak’s PLO friends?
