Iran’s supreme leader ayatollah Khamenei finally made up his mind, announcing that Iran won’t stop its nuclear program. Khamenei was earlier more equivocal and even mildly critical of Ahmadinejad’s standoff with the West. Khamenei likely became firm because of Iran’s advances in nuclear technology, as Israeli secret services claim.
