The Israel Air Force is considering purchasing F-15SE jets with limited stealth capability. The F-35 deal appears to have been shelved because of the enormous cost and because of America’s refusal to declassify the avionics. Oddly, the F-35’s rather limited operational characteristics, which make it unsuitable for any major mission, did not derail the talks.
F-15 Stealth Eagle jets are just as unnecessary to Israel as the F-35. At $100 million apiece, they would be too expensive to risk and too few to carry out any major operation. Their export versions are susceptible to Russian S-300 missiles at a range of fifty to eighty miles, and are even vulnerable to the Chinese version of the S-300 reportedly used by Iran. The S-400, installed by Russia in the Syrian port of Tartus, can take out F-15SE jets reliably.
F-15 Stealth Eagle is not a fifth-generation fighter jet; it only has some advanced features. Russian MiG-1.42s and Su-37s are more capable jets at half the price. And unlike Obama, the Russians would be gladly sell us the planes without asking who are we going to bomb next.

F-15 Stealth Eagle is definitely unnecessary for Israel. What will Israel do with this F-15 Stealth Eagle? It will just the money and the taxes will be raised again for ordinary people to pay even more.
Israel should definitely buy something significantly better tahan these planes as it’s guaranteed to have some problems not only with Iran but Egyptian Nuclear program as well and it should be ready for it of course.

All these things happen because Jewish authorities totally depend upon the opinion of the US, Europe and even Asia. While Arabs, for example, don’t feel guilty about nuclear reactors in Egypt and many other things like this.
IAF F-15 missions will definitely fail right at once. The reason for this will be the fact that these planes won’t participate in any operations due to their extremely high cost. That’s why there will hardly be any IAF F-15 missions as such.

It is better than the current fighters in the inventory by a small margin. If F35 is not an option then an incremental upgrade may be better than nothing. Typhoons are another option in the same price range. Gripen NG could be a good deal for a smaller aircraft that has a design philosophy similar to the Lavi.
