IDF forced Jewish villagers in the territory of the Binyamin tribe to give up their weapons. The government expects to surrender this part of the Jewish land to Palestinians and disarms the settlers to preclude any opposition. Now the disarmed settlers won’t even be able to stay behind the Green Line under Palestinian jurisdiction.
