Israel’s Chief Comptroller launched investigation into the failure of Israeli government to exert sufficient pressure on the US Administration to release a convicted Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard.
This must be the most unusual investigation ever conducted, openly demanding illegal (though correct and righteous) Israeli actions in support of Pollard’s illegal activity.

I do not believe Pollard’s actions were illegal under Israeli Law. He simply acted in defense of his country, actions which were in fact legal by US Law under a signed agreement with Israel to share information on the activities of the enemies of Israel. The US it seems wants to have its activities with regard to this “oversight” of intelligence to Israel overlooked, or swept under the rug. Pollard is simply the scape goat is covering up the way in which the US government really looks at Israel, or is that the way they look at all Jews…
