President Bush canceled his trip to Switzerland after ‘human rights’ organizations filed a case against him for authorizing the torture of Islamic terrorists.
It’s a funny world where the most powerful people on earth cannot move freely because of legal oddities. Now the US will have to join Israel’s legal battle to revoke universal jurisdiction laws.
But the bigger problem is that world leaders can be sued for the same crimes in local courts. Leftist judges would be only too happy to establish their jurisdiction over military affairs.
