A Hamas spokesman reiterated Hamas’ commitment to attacking Israel until the Jews resume supplying enough food and fuel to Gaza. It’s a curious position really: feed us, or we will kill you.
Olmert again promised a military operation against Gaza. Barak again counseled caution. IDF’s legal counsel advised against using artillery in retaliation strikes against Gaza. The Israeli government traditionally doesn’t give a damn about protecting poor townships such as Sderot or Kiryat Shmona.
