Mashaal asked Yemen to mediate with Fatah, but Abbas refused negotiations with Hamas. Abbas is too happy to rid his government from Gaza terrorist nest. Other Palestinian sources report ongoing negotiations between Fatah and Hamas over a new unity government. Abbas needs Hamas consent to hold national elections, otherwise to be blocked in Gaza.
