The Jewish state is under assault.

Having started and lost seven wars against Israel, the Arabs are now fighting her from within—through demographics.

Weapons research is in no way part of Iran’s program. Even with regard to the Zionist regime, our path to a solution is elections. — Ahmadinejad, 08.26.2006
Israel’s nightmare is of a demographic scale. — Iqbal Tamimi, Palestinian poet
The womb of the Arab woman is my best weapon.” —Yassir Arafat.

During the intifada, the uprising against Israel that began in the 1980s, Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat personally urged women to give birth for the cause, in order to produce male fighters to replace those who had been "martyred."' (the New York Times, February 24, 2000).

Though official statistics count Palestinians as “only” 19% of the Israeli population, they constitute 34% among Israel’s young. In many areas of the Negev and Galilee, Palestinians already constitute a majority. Increasing her Jewish population is a matter of life and death for Israel.

And there is a solution.

Every year, close to 50,000 unborn Israeli children die in abortions. Many abortions are performed for social and financial reasons, concerns which can be alleviated. Here is where Efrat steps in. Immediately after hospital personnel inform us that an unfortunate woman has registered for an abortion, one of our 3,000 volunteers contacts her. The woman is offered advice, social help, and token assistance for her baby. It costs us exactly $1,200 to save a life.

The most effective way to fight the Jewish demographic challenge is the organization of EFRAT. Through their comprehensive programs tens of thousands of Jewish children and their offspring have been saved. — Morton Klein, President, Zionist Organization of America.
On behalf of the UJC, I want to add my respect to all of you at EFRAT, for all the good work that you do in Eretz Yisroel. — William Daroff, United Jewish Communities.

In its thirty-two years of operation, Efrat has saved 36,062 babies. With your help, we can save up to 6,000 children a year—every year.
