Have you heard about an American Jewish attorney and business man David Naggar and his book "The Case for A Larger Israel"?

I agree with his ideas and think that any one who is concerned about the constant crisis in the Middle East should read the book.
Naggar was born in Israel but lives now in San Francisco Bay area in USA. His thoughts may be studied on his web site www.alargerisrael.com .

David Naggar says that a two-state solution will not work. Israel is too small and militarily vulnerable. A new Palestinian state on the West Bank could not either be viable and would be a constant threat to Israel.

That's why the only solution is a greater Israel so that West Bank and Gaza will be annexed totally into Israel and the Palestinian people would be moved to Jordan.

The yielding politics of the Government of Israel will not lead to a permanent peace. Only a stronger and larger Israel could succeed in stabilizing the area.

I think this idea is worth trying.

I am sorry to say, but arabs and muslims do not appreciate weakness. They appreciate only power.

Two interesting verses:Gather together, gather together, O shameful nation, before the appointed time arrives and that day sweeps on like chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD comes upon you, before the day of the LORD's wrath comes upon you. Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD's anger. Gaza will be abandoned and Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday Ashdod will be emptied and Ekron uprooted. Zephaniah 2:1-4For three sins of Gaza, even for four, I will not turn back [my wrath]. Because she took captive whole communities and sold them to Edom, I will send fire upon the walls of Gaza that will consume her fortresses. I will destroy the king of Ashdod and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon. I will turn my hand against Ekron, till the last of the Philistines is deadAmos 1:6Philistine = PalestinianAccording to Amos God Himself will eliminate the Palestinians.

I left the comment by "me" for a reason: it came from Israeli email address. This is a comment by Israeli Arab, one of those Muslims beloved by the Israeli left. Read their opinion about the coexistence.

To Beta: Arabs and leftists are the major force in the Knesset now. Personally, I think of the State of Judea. The left and Muslims banished.

To Obadiah and Danny,What circumstances would it actually take for such a policy to be implemented? The only thing I can think of is Arabs becoming a major force in the Knesset, but by then it may be too late.

To Gal: There is no panacea. The transfer will keep Israel a small Jewish country. She would still have to deal with external enemies. The issue is not which religion is expansionist and which is not, but that the Jews were never the weak all-forgiving turn-your-other-cheek- accept-the-enemy-within Diaspora types.

Meme - while I do not agree with Obadiah's views - Obadiah suggests, in your own words, that Jews won't kill you, they just want you to leave their country (even with compensations). It is highly regrettable that Jews has learned all the wrong things from Palestinians.Obadiah - I am not sure how a transfer would resolve external dangers - Syria, Iran, Palestinians on the other side of the fence. Every religion and nation is different in its own way. The ancient history you describe is not very different of, for example, Middle Age Catholicism or Islam. How about Shinto? It is probably the most expansionist and aggressive ideology ever. But yes, I, for one, am very interested to see a definition of Jewishness. For some reason I believe most Israelis and Jews would identify themselves with Jews known for achievements in rational thought rather than internally known religious authorities.

To Meme: So what? America was a country of Indians. Egypt was a country of Ottoman Turks. Palestine was a country of just everyone. Nations come and go, or pushed out.
