What happened on that date? It appears nothing of note, at least not according to wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003
I would like to know about this. If you think it shouldn't be hidden, then share it. Otherwise you are also hiding it.

Very interesting and well written article, thank you again, Obadiah. I was brought up in a Reform synagogue so many of the mystical prophecies of Judaism were obscured and rarely mentioned to me. That is why I have been doing a lot of my own research into this topic. The element you mentioned that interests me most is the Mayan calendar. Outside of Judaic prophecies this has become a reliable source of information.

I realize that there is a psychological condition that is diagnosed to people who have an urge for the world to end, it's all they can think about because their present situations are less than desirable and so they long for another place/time.

I know that my curiosity is different because I am more than content with my present situation and my only ambition is to learn the truth. I already know that Torah is truth, however that feeling you get when you read or learn something new and realize that it corroborates the Torah you have known all along; that's a great feeling.

With the Mayan calendar, their system is very similar to the Hebrew calendar, other than ours is Lunar and theirs was heliocentric. I find it mathematically beautiful, to be able to see the symmetry in the universe and our galaxy and especially the earth. It shows the intention and purpose in our creation. Like I said, I've known that we were created by G-d since I was a little kid, but to see another race across the world validate these otherwise leaps of faith is a real good feeling.

I guess my point is that I've always loved these Mayan calendar ideas almost as much as Torah, so to see them combined and analyzed together is really great.

That verse you quote was fulfilled Feb 4, 2003. But hashem has hidden it since. Why, this I cannot figure out. It is time, or does Erev Rav have such a strangle on thing that the Mashiach cannot be revealed. I believe that it was written about that the rabbi's will do what they can to stop the geulah. Any thoughts on it?

How many wicked kings you would count in the ancient times? But there's no doubt that the state was Jewish.
