What a total pile of crap! The peace process has been an Israeli/American lie for a very, very long time. The USA has vetoed continuously any resolution critical to Israel created in the United Nations. This bind favouritism toward the Israelis is a terrible policy.

The Palestinians not only have to deal with the Israeli bully but also the biggest bully in our world, the USA.

There can be no peace because neither Israel nor the USA wants peace.

let me say this…ever since Haggar and Ishmiel was sent back to Egypt on the way the angel appeared and set the division of creation of Islam! The bitter resentment for being cast out has festered for centuries! The five fingers of Ishmiel have been fighting each other forever! During the liberation of Iraq the three major factions started a civil war! killing each other for control! Iran wants to blow Israel off the map! Most every Arab country hates the United States!!! Their will never be a peace in the middle east because you people are bickering over trivial things! The more consessions Israel gives to Palistine they just want more! TO GET RID OF US HAVE ISRAEL AND THE ARAB STATES SIT DOWN AND WRITE THE SEVEN YEAR PEACE TREATY AS IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION AND WE AS BELEVERS WILL BE OUT OF YOUR HAIR! Is peace the lull between wars? Racism and intolerance happens between neighbors, relatives,strangers on the street, the handicapped and the healthy, it’s everywhere. Racism and intolerance isn’t in everyone, some people just have likes and dislikes. Asking for peace when it comes to religious differences is the hardest peace to create. Do you think hard-line muslims are willing to publicly accept someone else religious beliefs. Holocaust refuters are willing to accept that jews don’t have all the money, teetotalers don’t mind living with drunks, Vegetarians will eat big macs at McDonalds. Peace will prevail when both sides are threatened by a 3rd party, like parents stopping siblings from fighting. Even your response is one of intolerance to other peoples views, however some people do like to finger point at others when it comes to showing where the problems are and the truth is , is that it is everywhere and the innocent on both sides get hurt or killed. Does altruism really exist, can we get rid of religion and not have anarchy, Can people accept others who are visually different?
I don’t have an answer to that do you?

This is a great example of racism and intolerance! I don’t think you belong to this century! so go back and continue sleeping in caves or underground… peace will prevail regardless of terrorists like yourself from both sides!

From where I am sitting so far away in Tasmania Australia I feel so much in my bones and heart at the daily stress,anguish and uncertainty that millions of Jewish immigrants must feel as they perform their daily tasks getting-up each morning,surrounded by millions upon millions of “neighbours” who hate them and wish their destruction. Archeology teaches anyone with any intelligence that there were 2 Jewish Temples on Temple Mount thousands of years before any Mosque was built. To have Kassam rockets and morter shells coming from over the border at civilian targets is totally inexcusable. It is acts of war. To kidnap any Israeli citizen or soldeir is an act of war,and does not promote “peace”. Gilad Schalit should be handed-over IMMEDIATELY, and to expect 1,000 prisoners (and lets face it,many of them ARE murderers) in exchange for him is an insult of the highest order,and reflects the deplorable mindset of those proposing such an exchange. I remember Gilad Schalit everyday here, and no, I am not Jewish. My father stole from Jewish homes in Holland during WW2 and I am deeply ashamed of that,he never openly admitted of it, I found out from an Aunt. I have visited Israel, 10 years ago, and I felt so alive and honoured to explore it”s sunny streets and notice all the different cultures blending.

After my visit, the Intifada, a time of more suffering for the Jewish people. The Land belongs to the Jewish people, and to see them not being able to live in security like we take for granted here in Australia, makes me very sad indeed. Personally,as I see it, the Arab peoples cannot be trusted, your Prime Minister summed it up at the UN a few days ago. The whole problem has now grown so large it is very very scary,and its OK for me to be saying that from accross the world, I dont have to live in fear of rockets falling out of the sky as I brush my teeth. I just wanted to say all this,all I can do is watch the news and feel so very sad, and moved by the courage of the modern State of Israel.

I agree with most of what is stated here, but do have a two issues:

–> No. The coastal areas of modern Israel are part and parcel of the land we are commanded, in the Bible, by G-d, to conquer. In fact, historically, much of that land was in Israelite possession at some time or another. So the coastal area is quite relevant both religiously and historically.

2. “A few thousand such Arabs would always be there, and would employ terrorist tactics to attack Israel.”
–> This is a gross under-estimation. The non-Jewish residents of the land of Israel–whether East of the Jordan, in Samaria, Judea, Gaza, the Galil, the Negev, or on the coastal plain–are being brainwashed to hate the Jews and Israel. The threat is not, and never will be, limited to a few thousand fringe players–it has been inextricably woven into the very fabric of the outsiders in our midst; as we have been warned in the Bible about non-Jews living in the Land: “. . . those [non-Jews] you let remain [in the Land] will be as pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the Land in which you dwell.” (Numbers 33:55)

Um, yeah, the picture that links to this article from the Jerusalem post is actually a picture of a Maronite Christian firing a machine gun in the Lebanon civil war, not a Saudi.
