In Baku, Armenians and Azeris lived peacefully for several generations. After the fall of Soviet Union, Azeris slaughtered Armenians. Under British Raj, in India, Muslims and Hindus were leaving peacefully, after Brits withdrew, they slaughtered million and only stopped the slaughter by separating the populations. (That is not exactly true, the Hindus disappeared from Pakistan, but in India they still have 150 million Muslims with the corresponding problems) You are right.
