How can one say they are a non religious Jew? Your father, from his loins you all came, was a friend of God and spoke with Him face to face! To say you are not of God, that you are not a chosen people is a slap in the face of God. You are called to be a light unto the nations. If you obey and worship the one true God you will be blessed; because of this blessing the nations will come to you and want, also, to know your God. How can you keep missing this point? Must be something in the water you are drinking; a brain numbing agent, perhaps?

like Ray says, you’re out to lunch on a fishing trip and think an atheist is Messianic?! A “who is a Messianic” is a pretty big subject for someone who doesn’t even have her snout under the tent curtain yet. I’m a non-Jewish Messianic. Technically, a
“non-Jewish Jacob, house of Joseph Jesus Freak.”

Before you can get into the dance, you have to be, well, let me quote it to you exactly:

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Right now, to use my earlier analogy, you’re the camel trying to “move in by sniffing around under the tent” and you not only can’t even tell which way the wind is blowing, but keep bruising your snout pushing against the tent pegs. You might as well be running into a door knob. In fact, you haven’t even arisen from sleep but are a walking zombie and a comic relief for us and for that we say thank you. How can you even smell the coffee when you are still dead in your trespasses and sins?

Oh, that’s right, Moslems don’t have a sin problem, per say. Just a math problem because it isn’t just getting to 50 % “goodness” + .00000000001% that will get it.

Absolute sinless perfection is what will reside in eternity with the Creator because He is sinless and the rest of us just miss the mark.

There are many ways a person can make a contribution to his country. Some of them may require being outside the country. Each person’s situation is unique with factors such as age, skills, etc. One reason why I hesitate is that this point I may be more of a burden than asset to Israel (without going into my specific situation.) I do however like your point, and I don’t believe you are a Muslim. At times what you write makes sense and indicates intelligence and intelligence is a quality that Muslims are lacking. When I catch you saying something intelligent, you immediately produce a lot if idiocy, and then I start thinking that you are a Muslim. Now I suspect that you are intelligent and your idiocy is deliberate deception.
Interesting fellow you are.
Anyway, I am writing this message to you from Israel.
And no, I am not a Messianic Jew. This idea is so stupid that I again start thinking that you are Muslim, though Muslims are too stupid to know about Messianic and the relationship between and the Jews, OK, you are not a Muslim, you are just fishing.
I am what I told you, a secular Jew. I am part of Jewish nation, not of Jewish religion. Jewish nation existed before religion, and after religion.
I am not opposed to religion, I am only opposed to stupidity. I believe that eventually a new religion for all humankind will emerge which will not be based on beliefs and revelations.

The expression of nostalgia for Odessa reminds me of my father’s generation singing (with tears in their eyes) “Beltz, my Shanele Beltz.” It’s part of the longing-belonging syndrome. Realistically we should recall that the Beltz’ of those Shtetl fame was a miserable, rural, area in which the Jews of Eastern Europe suffered both a harsh life and rabid anti-Semitism.

Perhaps, but it is not in my hands.
Still, keep in mind that every nation believes it is better than the rest. They stand by this claim either by repulsing invaders, or bullying others.
Claiming to be chosen is not a special behavior by itself. Not willing to do any of the above, though, is.

Christians used to be the most notorious murderers of Jews, however today, some of them appears to be supportive of the Jewish state. It makes perfect sense to make an alliance with them, at least for now.

Perhaps there is a way to end much of antisemitism. Perhaps some of antisemitism is created by us? Perhaps we invite antisemitism by being weak, and perhaps we can end it by being strong?

Perhaps, at least partially antisemitism is caused by the Jewish notion of being “chosen”. Perhaps even among the Jewish believers, this notion is equally misunderstood and it is equally misunderstood by the Gentiles?

Perhaps if we declared ourselves a nation among nations, no better no worth than others, people will stop expecting from us to be saints, and will accept that we are juts like the rest them: violent, selfish, greedy, narrow-minded, prejudiced, racist, and juts like in other nations there are also exceptions among us…

Perhaps 1000s of years of of hatred need several generations to disappear, even if we do that, or perhaps we need a conscious effort, just like there have been effort to eradicate racism against Blacks in America. (It partially succeeded, but Jews pretend that there is no problem with antisemitism, so no “Diversity Trainings” work on eradication of antisemitism.)
Perhaps, certainly I don’t know,but it may be worth trying.

Tragically, if we were to take revenge on all the peoples who have murdered Jews, there will almost no Europeans left.
Gone is Germany, but also Poland, Ukraine, Lithua, nia, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, Croatia, etc basically all of Eastern Europe, murdered their Jews during WWII.
Then look a little further back into history and we would have to kill Spanish, Portuguese, French, Swiss, Italians, English…

Americas complicity with the Holocaust may merit killing at least a portion of the United States.

Last, but not least, currently practically all Muslim countries hate Jews and incite extermination of Israel and Jews.

South Americans refused Jewish refugees during WWII. People came there with false documents, but very little official immigration.

Who is left?
Hindus, Chinese, and non-leftist Japanese and non-Muslim/ non-Christian Africa.
This may be a solution to the population explosion.
