I am currently undecided about my opinion of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Both sides have done wrong, and both sides have a right to be there, yielding me conflicted. In the specific case of Hebron, I know that the angelic Jews you describe do not exist. Hebron is a city of over 150,000 Arabs and a few hundred Jews. These settling Jews came to Hebron not only to be close to the holy sites there, but as part of a plan to break up Arab settlements throughout Israel. These few Jews came with the protection of the Israeli army. These Jews enjoy lawlessness -- harassing Arabs, throwing rocks at them, taking over their houses and shops, etc. Arabs are under a strict curfew. In short, a few hundred Jews move to a city, and disrupt/ruin the lives of thousands. This is a case of extreme Zionism, and certainly does not represent all Jewish people. All religions have their radicals and other bad ducks, but their evil should not be a reflection upon others. Do not stereotype -- this is how wars are started. Take each person as they come, not a religious person as a whole. When you begin to think about the mother or child on the other side, it is not as easy to hate. It is when you avoid thinking of people personally that people become satanic. I have studied Islam, and read parts of the Qur'an, which is quite beautiful. It does not reject Judaism.
