The Arabs are no different. There was never a sovereign state called Palestine nor a Palestinian people for that matter. Even Napoleon recognized the right of the Jews on the land in 1799 and thought about re-installing Jewish sovereignty in "Palestine", later recognized, confirmed and legalized by the League of Nations. That was before the fraudulent, political fabrication of a fake "Palestinian" people. You are living in a world of your own ideals. In that ideal world (which does not exist anywhere except for imagination) would agree with you that there is no need for ethnically based state. However in the real world, there is antisemitism. In the real world people are all to happy to beat, abuse, despise, in every way discriminate against, and murder Jews, just because they were born from Jewish parents, (not necessarily religious.) So when a group of people are abused and persecuted murdered all over the world, it makes sense for them to stick together and have their own country with defensible borders, and an army to defend them. Simple, isn't it? Additionally, ethnic and religious Jews are sharing a long history of our ancestors. We Jews, both religious and the non-religious, have a lot of shared values, that's why both religious and non religious Jews have performed a miracle of creating a nation under the most difficult and unlikely circumstances, and against the opposition from all sides. For all practical purposes it does not even matter whether our shared history is a myth, or a fact, what matter is that we subscribe to it. Countries are made by people sharing a myth.
