I have no doubt that when an independent Palestine is created there will be a war between Palestin Israel and probably Syria and Lebanon. I don't think Jordan or Egypt will join in. It will be bloody, but Israel will prevail. For the one's that talk about a one state solution and Greater Israel, you have to be realistic! If Israel wants to remain a democracy, non-aparthiedic and a Jewish State you must see a one state solution is impossible. First as Danny pointed out in another story the Jewish majority is threatened by the Israeli Arab population, what do you think 3.5-4 million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank will do to that majority? Shader it. Not to mention Arabs likes to reproduce like rabbits! Saying we should ship then out is so out of touch with reality its almost not worthy of a response. Its impossible politically, militarily and logisitically. I love the idea, but how can it be accomplished! It would backfire! No here is my answer, solution: (1) Israel should unilaterally great the Palestinian state, which includes all of Jerusalem, the major settlement blocs on the west bank, but excludes large Arab blocs in Israel (I believe this can move 300-400K Arabs to Pal control). This can be accomplished by building the security wall around the areas Israel wants. And give a narrow corridor between Gaza and the West Bank. Equal land taken for equal land given primarily of Arab majority in the area. (2) Promote Jewish migration to primarily Arab dominated areas of Israel via tax benefits and more protection in these areas. (3) Demand ALL Israelis, specifically including the Orthodox Jews and Israeli Arabs, conscribe to the compulsor military service. Make all other Arabs give an oath off loyalty to Israel. This will increase emigration out of Israel. (4) Make an affirmative demand that the Palestinian refugees are not Israel's problem. Say the Palestinian so-called refugees should be resettle amongst the Arab, muslim and willing western countries and Russia. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Oman and the Sudan are some of the least populated countries in the world! They have the space to take them! Esp Saudi Arabia. (5) Completely leave the areas of Palestine and declare that its free and independent completely. That the so-called occupation is over. (6) Prepare for war and hit back so hard 3 generations down the line will feel it. Most Palestinians will be happy they finally have a state. There will be war, but it will be like all the other ones will Israel kicking ass and the Arabs backing down. Then time do its course. (7) Tell Syria to go fuck itself. Golan its ours and we are going to keep it that way. (8) Next try to reach out to all the Arab countries and say we created Palestine now live up to your part. I guarantee you will get some that come over, but not all. (9) Do this why oil becomes less important over the next decade. Mark my words the world is moving away from oil and the power of the middle east esp Iran and Saudi Arabia will come to a halt (not to mention Russia also). My answer to that is that you can't make peace with an enemy that seeks your destruction. There is no relable partner for the Israelis to negociate with. This war is spiritual, no man made treaties or agreement will solve it. Islam will not rest until it destroys Israel. Again the key is to understand Islam. With all do respect, you must stop looking at this problem from a liberal-secular perspective. Now that we in the U.S. just elected the most anti-Israeli President since Jimmy Carter. I believe Obama will appease Islam and slowly abandon Israel. His policies in his first two weeks in office speaks volume. Not only did he apologize to Islam for past American policies, he will destroy the U.S. economy with this rediculus spending package that he and the liberal are calling a stimulus package. I believe Obama is a precurser to the eventual rise of the anti-christ. Like Iranian mad-man Ahmadinejad, Obama is doing his part to pave the way for this rise.
