It's Talmudic Judaism. I am not interested in that form of replacement theology and will certainly disagree with the late Rav Kahane on issues of halachot. When people focus on what bracha to say when putting ones pants on in the morning, while ignore the weighter matters of the Torah, this is replacement theology and neither I, nor will the future leader of the Jews (King Mashiakh) be interested in this type of non-sense. I am in a rather small community currently in the galut. They like it here, not wanting to rock the boat. The rabbi's are very politically correct too. When I talk about the changes, as like your blog, in the Torah, some of them freak to say the least. I had a interesting talk with a rosh yeshiva during chanukah, the real Chanukah discussion came out, most where a little suprised (they thought it was about eating freakin donuts), but the rav (ultra Orthodox), with his head down did admit what it was truly about. I asked him about the Torah commandments we ignore today, cleansing the land for example, his response was from the Talmud of which was if we follow the Torah (Charedi version) then the land would be cleansed for us. I brought it up a few times, he could not argue anymore. He knew exactly what I was saying to him. Also, I brought up the fact that we don't exactly believe haShem is with us anymore, he agreed. (we truly are almost at the bottom of the barrel) Oh, I also brought up the subject of cleansing the land on the Tamar Yonah show with a rav from Aish. I caught him off guard and he too did the song and dance but did admit we are not following all of the Torah. Basically saying, what can we do! One day, this will change. One by one we can make a difference to our nation who truly is lost in galut Judaism. Keep up the great articles (for the most part :-) ) and we will win this battle with the help of haShem.
