Those who are Religious out side of the land, are not helping us much here. Becouse of their absence the influence of the “other side” is greater. If they lived here they could add their voices to the call for stability here and redemption from our problems. “Observing” Torah out side the land is only as “practice” as Rashi said, in preparing one for doing Mitzvot in the land. Doing mitzvot outside the land is as being a fishing man. Having all the equipment, but never going to the water. He can practice. But he will never help the Go-d build the Temple in L.A., Its not going to Happen. They also shouldn’t think that they are going to eat the meal if they don’t do the work. In Gemora it says in the future only those invited will be able to come up to Jerusalem. They thought they could hang out in Germany and come up later, it didnt work that way. ??”?
