The main problem in terms of Israeli identity i.e of anti-propaganda is that in the world culture what has been emphasized is the life story of Moses such as in the Prince of Egypt but Moses was equivalent to prehistory of the State of Israel... The highest success of the State of Israel was King Solomon for he made peace with his neighbours... Israel has King David's Star as its national symbol but it does not confirm Solomon worldwide... should we wonder why it was so easy for Arafat to dare saying the Jewish Temple never existed?

I mean we hear all this talk about democracy but wisdom for governance was written under Solomon after all for the biggest historical challenge in governance is to perceive others as creature of God and not barbarians to be destroyed. Solomon is so absent from world culture that till today we see threats of total annihilation on certain populations and genocidal policies. Muslims have nothing to rejoice over this absence of rooting of Solomon in world culture because the definition of barbarians versus creature of God lies in the eye of the beholder as much as an abuser finds the roots of his actions in his tortured soul.

Would you stop taking it so dogmatically?
You can't kill 3 million people, unless you nuke them all by surprise, or cut off all their escape-routes.
As soon as you start shooting indiscriminately into a Palestinian crowd, they would flee, and as Joseph noted, they actually have someplace to go. They have a lot of places to run to, actually.
No one is going to put them in trains (We don't have enough trains anyways. The ones we have barely manage to transport paying customers to their destination on time), lock them in camps, and systematically exterminate them.

And random machine-gunning and shelling of population centers will kill a few thousands at most. Probably only a few hundreds.

The rest can then be safely butchered by their brothers in Egypt, who will be happy to see Palestinians crossing their border like housewives are happy to see cockroaches invading from a nearby apartment.

Also - Those damn Romulans!

MY ERROR...

I made a mistake, I calculated with the Muslim world population of 1.5 Million, rather than the 1.5 Billion.....

Hmmmmm, Obadiah is talking about a serious genocide here...

0.2% of 1.5 Billion Muslims is 3 Million Palestinians. That would mean killing all them.
====
Hmmmmmm.....
I think that I kind of understand what he is saying. At lest I think he is saying that from a historical perspective the death of 3 Million Muslim Arabs would make not difference whatsoever.... Indeed, that is probably true.

Still, taken literally, such genocide make Jews, into a a bunch of despicable Nazis. We would have to kill our heart first.

At the same time, like you say, (Joseph) a solution can be found where the the Palestinian Arabs are resettled.

I think that the first step is for Israelis, Jews, and all supporters of Israel, to change the language and stop talking about the "West Bank", and the "Occupied Territories" (unless we indicate "Arab Occupied". Consistent use of such wording would change the way the world perceives reality.

Can the 0.2% not just be made to move? That is why I just cannot accept the Nazi crap -- the Jews had no where to go. The "Arab-Israelis" and "Palestinians" do. Lots of places. I like Ray's idea about putting al-Aqsa up on e-bay.

Another small progress, in the past torture was certainly more accepted. People came to watch public executions, public flogging, burning at stakes, flaying, impaling, crucification, etc.
Such things are more rare today.
Only in the most backward culture, such as the Muhammadans in some areas, still enjoy public stoning of (adulterous) women, amputations, and other such barbarities. Most people would find it revolting. So there is a progress.

Today, Socrates would not be convicted to death by a jury, (though he might be assassinated). Today Jesus could see a psychiatrist, who if successful, might prevent another "Christianity".
