A <strike>Palestinian</strike> Arab attacks a Jewish Rabbi with a knife and the Rabbi defends himself. Yeah, since Israelis are victims of terrorism I would rejoice also in the chutzpa of the Rabbi defending himself.

Palestinian Arabs exist as a nationality only because defeated Arab invaders literally created Arab refugee camps as a pretext for further invasions of Israel. Instead the invading Arabs should have matriculated their Arab brothers into their various nations.

"yiddishkeit" is not Derech haShem. This is the source of all our toubles. Replacement theology is not different then Islam or Chrisitianity. We will not wake up, nor will we ever supercede our past accomplishments. Until we realize the need to clean our own house, never expect a change to come. Only the same will be true of the future. As a dog returns to his vomit, so does a fool return to his foolishness. We are masters of this.

So then, where in lies our collective solution? EDUCATION. Efforts like this site and its related book are more than admirable but we need much, much, much more.

Kahanism failed to triumph in its original push to the top because it failed to consolidate its interests. In trying to be everything to everyone it ended up being nothing to anyone.

Issues like NYC and life in NYC (so called racial co-existence, Police Brutality, targetting the former USSR, and shouting in Nateuri faces for the camerman to guffaw at us were irresponsible at best.

Kahanism stood for a strong and righteous Jew who had knowledge of self, not a media plaything . IF one tries to spread one's self too think nothing EVER gets covered.

If instead the movement concentrated on EARLY education (Rav Kahane had the right idea with his Yeshiva but much too little). Doing non-confrontational outreach work in our communities in the Disapora, much like the goyim did in the 60s such as soup kitchens, medical clinics for the poor and disenfranchised, etc. We see its intrinsic value in the way both Hezbollah and HAMAS have used these means to springboard themselves first into their national consciousness and then rather quckly into the International Arena.

Then, above the most very basic levels of the organisations there needs to be very effective vetting so as to neutralise the same outsiders perusing these boards. This issue has been one that has forced Kahanism and allied ideologies to remain in the gutter, on the outside looking in and to compound insult to injury we have been forced to look inside as the traitors enjoy their largesse. To satisy me and many others, we need only wish the majority of our youth to enjoy the glorious and loving world of true Yiddishkeit and serving their beautiful People.

If , IF we work, TRULY work as we should we can not only regain strength but supercede our past accomplishments.

Danny, this is a GREAT point that I admit had not crossed my mind. I who speak Arabic as a first language and feel that I understand the Arab psyche very well never once considered that all important gem.

IF we do not give our all for Yehudah (Judah) what should we care for the other lands currently making up Israel Proper???

While the world remains blindly ignorant of this the Arab World mocks us. The soil under any Arab home is made from Jewish bones. In the Exile 50 walled Jewish cities and 987 Jewish villages were destroyed by the vengeful Romans.

People talk of myths like a "Palestinian People, a "land called Palestine," and so on. In the next breath they tell of us a Jew named "Jesus" who allegedly lived in a town called ...Bet'l'chem. They talk of Dead Sea Scrolls in a place like Qumran, burial ruins at a place called Herodium and of course, never forget Ma'sah'da.

Where is the "Palestinian" connection? Asking this question is ALMOST like telling a sick joke. Yet the naive and child like world eats it out of hand never once bothering to exercise the least bit common sense.

However, by the same token, I agree with Arik and the Kadima Party Platform. IF we do not unilateraly set our borders and stand strong how can we ever hope to make it? As I have stated before in terms of pragmatics, they outnumber us in everyway.

Even at home their average age is 10 years younger than us and 4 more children per family. Galilee Triangle? Shedding Golan to Syria, leaving Gazastan to the nutters, and now cededing the rest of the so called "WB" less the approximately 6% we hope to retain, we are still left with a temporary reprieve, at best. In our own grandchildren's lives we will see many more hard choices to retain our majority.

You once opined that "Jews have never been pragmatic." That it is true that even as Jerusalem's last walls fell, as the Romans fought their way through our alleys to the center on Moriah (Temple Mount) 3 factions of Jews busied themselves salughtering one another rather than offering a unified defence and this of course led to the (second to last) Jewish military failure.

So...WHAT TO DO? As always the world is against us. Russia bombs Osettia today , noone bats an eye, last month Chadians and Sudanese knocked the stuffing out of one another, on and on and on and only Israel in the glare of the world's headlights like a frghtened doe...not sure which way to run.

Don't move them to Jordan, we will only have to expel them from there in the redemption. The 'arab palestinians' are not correct. They invented themselves on June 4, 1967, and they follow a book that is a lie. So they are not correct in anything. They follow something they assume to be from G-d, but like some of the other big one, it to is a fabrication of replacement theology to rid the world of us and our Book. So simple, why we bow to such lies is a mystery.

Precisely! Any 'peace' will be temporary and the entire world knows it. Any land concessions granted to ensure the peace will only ensure that more Jews will die when the peace ends. IMHO, the present low grade constant strife is much preferable to a peace (hudna) leading to internecine war. The right answer is to give the Palestinians a homeland. In Sinai or Jordan, or both. It certainly isn't helping them to establish a Yudenrein reichlet in Judea and Samaria.
