How is one of the largest drug producing countries in the World implicated? Maybe America is not overreacting so much as it is maximizing the utility of attacking multiple targets at one time. Otherwise, are you suggesting that America is supporting Osama? That is a stretch. A big no-no to terrorize and obliterate oil tankers, but a big yes-yes to tax with piracy? Maybe Osama has gone from being devoutly anti-materialistic, to being moderately opportunistic and advantageous? The US just attacked 15 Al Qaeda targets on the Afghanistan border on the 11th or 12th. There must be some conflict (involving two or more sides not in agreement) because it is not like random civilian targets are being attacked.
