lack of leadership? still waiting for Moshiach

The problem seems to be a lack of Jewish leaders and leadership rather than the people. How frustrating to elect someone who claims to stand firm against the enemy only to turn around once in office and do the total opposite. Sharon was not the first of course and I fear may not be the last.

I think Israel is 50/50 in terms of ideology. But with a 50 of nationalistic Jews, we have a huge treasure. Just look on the Tanach, to understand why a 50 percent is a excellent thing. Demographically talking, the center of the country is much more leftist, and by being so,morally corrupt and lames of the “wonderfull west”. GOing south or north, the country becomes more rightist, with people loving the land. But this is not new. Josephus already wrote almost 2000 years ago:”..we jews are inlands people” so make your conclussion
Jews loves to depise G-d and law as much as the situation is under control. As soon as the danger gets near, remember G-d. So this is not new, neither. Left is a simple replacement ideology. If we are all equals, no need of G-d.
But this ideology, has been failed again and again to be impossed on Jews. What we need is real leadership for illumination. Real leaders showing us why, 3000 years later, law is light.
As I said before, jews just happen to hear when pressure mounts, but with great leaders we can learn our children how to live under our great legacy. Of course by leaders I never meant rabbis..
