To return, settle, and expand - how simple and natural. Yet, it's even easier to not return, assimilate, and disintegrate - to be at one in an undifferentiated world on its way to oblivion.

Little do the assimilated Jews out in the nations realize or care to acknowledge is the reality that those nations are on their way to becoming uninhabitable - lashed by the natural 'change' that HA`Shem always brings to the world. We should be able to see this clearly.

There are lessons here that many seem unable to learn until the tempest is upon them. Exodus - in both the physical and spiritual sense - is now the context. Those that refuse to elevate themselves out of 'Egypt' and Return are going down with it. To the extent that Israel does not break from the 'order of Egypt' and continues to play the 'games' of Egypt in the world, it, too, will go down.

There are signs, though, that the tide is turning.

Isolation is not about safety, but Jewish way of life.
Modern Karaites developed a considerable body of interpretation of their own.
In my view, we must live according to the time-tested Jewish rabbinical rules while advocating for their change. In secular analogy, if the speed limit is 65 mph, you should drive about that fast, but you can advocate changing that limit to 100 mph.

I don't see such a point in this article. On the particular issue, the nations indeed wanted us good, but on other occasions the things were different.

Hey cousin Obadiah;
No doubt you already considered this, but just to let you know not all of us are asleep: Remember the citizens of Hazor also were reputed to "dwell alone". Obviously, it is not and end in itself, nor a guarantee of safety, as they found when the tribe of Dan wiped them out and dwelt in their stead. Someone needs to bust the shackles off that torah scroll and let it free. The Karaites are making an effort at it now, and Yahshua did a swell job of it 1978 years ago. He paid with his life. Where do you stand on it? "You must not add to this word, nor diminish from it".

It's wonderfull, and a blessing of mercy from on high to have even quasi-torah keepers of YHWH's people in occupation of the land again, but we must not minimise the preceeding scripture. It is not possible for the Jewish occupation to be successful (de 30:5, you shall possess the land) until the candidates do de 30:2, "And you shall return to YHWH your Elohim and obey his voice." Talmudic observation is sort of like Catholicism, in that it can indicate good intentions, but for full credit from on high, we need to keep the REAL Torah. Look into karaism.

Your article pretends that the gentile nations only wanted to do 'good' for the Jews. No hostile intentions and bad things just accidentally came out of it. This is insanity.

I don't see what one policy has to do with another. They were initiated under different tsars and are not correlated.

"Russians, Germans, and Austrians wanted Jews good by forcing them to study secular subjects in Jewish and state public schools"

Really? Was it also "russians wanting Jews good" by forcing Jews into mandatory conscription to an army that committed pogroms against other Jews, often 25-year service for boys so that the boy would be stripped away from parents/family and forced to abandon Torah? You shouldn't distort the truth. Your point can be made without doing that...

And who's opinion do we follow about Jewish values? The idea is fine, but the reality of implimenting it is, today, completely impossible. I think that only after the Mashiach is revealed, will this reality take hold. May it be soon. As for the kapparot sacrifice, may it be quickly forbidden, as to transfer one's sins to a chicken, then feeding the poor with the birds, thus tranfering one's transgretions to the person eating it. Ritualistic hocus pocus.
